Filipino synthpop/retrowave/synthrock musician CERUMENTRIC creates passionate, honest songs about self-empowerment, body positivity, radical self-care, and self-healing using straightforward pop song structures with influences from punk rock, retrowave synthesizer melodies, and post-rock layers.

He is always enthusiastic about new technologies, especially when it comes to artificial intelligence and the use of computers to perform music. In order to create songs that will transport the listener to his alternate futuristic neon-lit universe, he combines DIY punk aesthetics with Japanese ideas such as ichigo-ichi-e (treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment) and wabi-sabi (finding beauty and serenity in things that are simple, imperfect, and impermanent).
