Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to unveil Golden Flight EP, a dynamic new release featuring a collaboration between Nicolas Viana and Federico Monachesi. The EP includes two original tracks, Golden Flight and Coral, bringing together the unique styles and strengths of each artist to deliver a compelling progressive house experience.

Nicolas Viana, from Argentina, has been steadily building his reputation in the progressive and melodic house scene with releases on respected labels and support from leading DJs worldwide. He previously appeared on Plaisirs Sonores Records with Endgame, a standout collaboration with Anonimat. Known for lush melodies, emotive atmospheres, and impeccable production skills, Nicolas continues to craft music that resonates both on the dancefloor and in personal listening.

Federico Monachesi, hailing from Italy, makes his debut on Plaisirs Sonores Records with this release. Federico has developed a signature sound that blends organic textures, deep grooves, and emotive chord progressions. With a growing presence in the international electronic music scene, he brings a refined sense of musicality and energy to this collaboration.

The EP opens with the title track, Golden Flight, an uplifting, melody-driven journey with hypnotic rhythms perfect for sunset & sunrise moments. Coral offers a deeper, more intricate exploration, demonstrating the artists versatility while maintaining a strong groove for the dancefloor.

Coming up next from Cydana Sounds is another team-up for label owner Cendryma! This time, he joins forces with Mexican DJ and producer MUUK, for a dark and moody triple threat that is sure to catch the ear of many fans of the dark and the underground. Opener Outside the Program is a tougher edged affair, driven by atmospheric vocal stabs, deep basslines and a whole lotta mood! The track builds the excitement through a driving groove that fades away until theres only a deep bassline left, creative a transition into the main drop of the tune that is filled with layers upon layers of atmosphere! Up next, we have a tune even darker than the opener, Artificial Mind. Subtle high frequencies cymbals and top loops make the energy unstoppable. An extended breakdown that filters down into the subterranean, filtered bassline releases the tension with a clean drum fill that re-introduces the track at its peak where once again, filtered and reverb-drenched vocal stabs are revealed. The tracks ends just as it began, filtering out the groove and leave just the drums. A perfect tune for those dark, moody nights! Finally, to close the EP is a thunderous affair, G-Force. Having awoken the beast of Cendrymas darkness, MUUKs final collaboration on the EP with the American is truly the perfect closer. Atmospheric, energetic, dark and even a little uplifting. A returning artist to the Meanwhile catalogue, EMPHI builds on his growing support and popularity with a brand-new twin-track EP in the form of "Walk With Me / Research Myself".

Hailing from the Swedish capital, EMPHI has lit up the world of Progressive House in the first half of the 2020s with his "tracks filled with vibrant percussion and anthemic melodies." Able to point to a growing number of blue-chip labels that have featured his work, Kasey Taylor's Vapour Recordings, Alex O'Rion's Solis Records, as well as the number 1 selling Mango Alley and iconic Balance Music, have all played host to EMPHI's production talent since a 2020 debut on Odd One Out.

Meanwhile has also been a key component in seeing the Stockholm resident soar to new heights. A pair of tracks have featured on the "Meanwhile Excursions" series with "The Box" on July 2022's Vol. 2 and "Azur" on Vol. 3 a year later. Now returning for a third appearance and a full solo EP, "Walk With Me" is propelled forward by a deep and penetrating kick. At the same time, a fizzing percussive top-line of hats and shakers provides the backdrop for a hypnotic bassline groove to anchor a series of sweeping, stereo-panned effects and vocal loop to flow seamlessly across the 7-minute piece. A catchy lead motif then provides melodic interest as it filters its way through proceedings from the mid-point onwards and into a stripped-down break. Building once more, the final movement explodes into a cadenced square wave synth that cuts through the mix with sumptuous pads adding to the soundscape.

Partner track, "Research Myself" immediately comes alive with a delicious head-shaking rhythmic pattern that creates a call and answer sequence with subtle synth placement. A chorus of hi-hats and shaker patterns adds further to the dancefloor arrangement as exquisitely placed slow attack chords and delicious effects create a hypnotising sonic collage. Rising and falling with immaculate ease, the track contains all the hallmarks of the EMPHI production skillset in a seething dancefloor gem.
