Human Movement and Made in Paris have both established themselves as revered tastemakers in Australian Underground dance. Hailing from Sydney, having sharing stages, remixes and also a close personal friendship, today the duo unleash their first collaborative single, 'Feel Me'.

Their unique ability to create atmospheric soundscapes with driving percussion is well on show here, a battering kick and high hat combo acting as the beating pulse of its 6 minute run time. Eerie vocal lines set its anthemic tone combining perfectly with the track's ethereal rave melodies.

With both producers operating in two distinct dance lanes, they mould together to create a club roller smack bang in between their sonic identities.

A gentle hand on his shoulder shook him out of his daydream and back into reality. How long had he been staring into space? Had he been asked a question or was that just his imagination? He cleared his throat and garbled an ambiguous response, in the hope he'd worm his way out of yet another missed inquiry. But instead he was met my a sea of bemused faces, there was no fooling them this time...

Following label mate Lavonz' return to the imprint earlier this month, London's Dansu Discs turn their attention to Australia for release 21 and Melbourne-based producer DJ Life. His Hypersonic EP brings the same energy as his previous outings for the likes of Potatoheadz and R.A.N.D Muzik Recordings, spanning pumping tech house, euphoric trance and peak time heaters, backed up by two remixes on the flip from Adam Pits and Ciel.

Just short of their milestone tenth release, Haŵs pulls up the inimitable DJ Chupacabra (and alias of Davide Piras) for his debut. ‘Yard Club’ takes the intimacy of hazy, expectant dancefloors and transfers it into four subtle shades that demonstrate the understated power of the warmup track – or the after-hours wind-down. 

It’s a neat pool of stripped-back UKG and house that brings up the same delicious sensations of a rollercoaster slowly approaching its descent or recovering from its fall. Where these tools get put into practice is totally up to imagination.
