Peter wrote, recorded, and produced Dead Meat at home in Berkeley, CA. Yuuki Matthews mixed, produced, and lent brains, style, and confidence all year. Eli West played mandolin, steel, acoustic, and electric guitar on Horsefly, Swedish Horse, Dolly Parton, Little Pretty Pumpkin, and XOXO, and helped me think this could be a record from the beginning. Justin Keller played electric guitar, saxophone, and bass clarinet on Unnerved and several B-sides, and offered songwriting notes and tips along the way. Liz Hatch sang on Dolly Parton and Calm er Down, donated lifetimes of revisional feedback, gave me lyrical ideas, helped me pick the right songs, and stood motionless while I recorded vocals. James McCalister played drums on Swedish Horse, Dolly Parton, Little Pretty Pumpkin, Unnerved, and Calm er Down. Christopher Colbert mastered Dead Meat. „Ferris Wheel“ ist ein Song über das Leben zwischen Aufstieg und Abstieg, Hoffnung und Erinnerung. Hoch oben über dem Meer, im Licht des Riesenrads, verschwimmen Kindheit, große Träume und Vergänglichkeit. Ein Lied über Kreise, die sich immer weiter drehen – leise, eindringlich und voller Bilder, die bleiben.

“Ferris Wheel” is a song about life’s ups and downs, about hope and memory. High above the ocean, in the glow of the Ferris wheel, childhood, big dreams, and transience blur together. A song about circles that keep turning – quiet, haunting, and full of images that stay with you.

Imagine stunning, catchy melodies, fresh anthemic poprock sound. Finland based alt rock / pop band, has a story to tell of their irregular ordinary life. In the vein of Imagine Dragons, M83 and The 1975 the quintet released their debut single, Perfect Sound, in 2015. The song was supported right from the start by the new music shows of the national radios. In 2016, Planet Case released their next two singles, ‘Universe & I’, and ‘Satellites’. The singles received radio, online and Spotify support helping the band to gain the attention of the international audience. In 2017, Planet Case was the opening act of Provinssi, one of the biggest rock/pop festivals in Finland. In 2018, Planet Case released their debut EP ‘Simple Thoughts’. The lead singles of the EP ‘Same Old Blood’ and ‘Average’ hit both top 10 of Spotify Finland’s Viral 50 list while they were playlisted by several new music playlists by Spotify. Also, radio channels played the singles in their new music shows. In addition, ‘Average’ was their first single to be playlisted on radio. Planet Case also supported Satellite Stories’ farewell tour in Finland and played at Lost in Music festival. In January 2019, Planet Case released their latest single, ‘Chemical’ which was playlisted on Spotify’s Nordic New Music Friday countries. The ‘song’ was also played by several international radio stations, playlisted by Radio YleX3M and featured on international music blogs. Currently, Planet Case is writing new music.
