If I had to give you the of ONE track that changed my life forever, then it would have to be this one! In 1990 I was at the local shows (carnival) with my Dad, and as we made our way towards the waltzers, this song came on. The pounding audio, the intense strobe lights, the smoke machine, the cheering crowd..it was as if something switched on inside my brain telling me that I needed more of this, a LOT more!! Roll on to 1994 and my dream became reality - my first gig was achieved - and now roll on another 30 years I'm still here doing what I love.

Øneheart’s latest album, ‘Samsara Passengers,’ is an ambitious project; undertaken with help from the ambient producer Dean Korso and Øneheart’s father, the artist leadwave. In this exclusive commentary, the Russian electronic project breaks down tracks from the album. As the title suggests, ‘Samsara Passengers’ explores the spiritual concept of samsara: the endless life cycle of birth and rebirth. With his peer Au5 on the track “while the time sleeps,” Øneheart has created “a sonic landscape that allows the listener to lose himself in time.” The track “lagrange point,” which features Moby, marks a turning point in the life journey.
