Biography

Maurice Kaar is an Electronic Music Artist from Mainz, Germany. In his 
productions he combines club oriented basslines, atmospheric synth 
textures and dreamy vocals. This kind of uplifting sound and his soulful 
vocals are the ingredients for his unique productions. 
With his first release „Acid Morning“ on Enchant Audio, a label from 
Hamburg with releases by artists like Modeplex and Township Rebellion, 
Maurice Kaar took the first steps on his musical journey. Since then he 
made a constant development and through the following releases he found 
a way to combine his love for producing electronic music with his passion 
for singing. With his latest productions and upcoming collaborations he is 
finally able to live out the two creative sides of his artistic vision.
In 2021 Maurice Kaar has already released on several labels like Blindfold 
Recordings, Steyoyoke and Katermukke’s sister label Mukke and there are 
already some more to follow…

Maicol MP | DHI | Mix

Maicol MP was born in 1991 in the province of Treviso. During his childhood he performed many activities in the field of music, including the study of the piano and the Sound Technician. 
At age 16 he finally discovered the music in which he recognized himself the most and, simultaneously, he began to hang out at the Clubs: these facts make his musical passion always lead him to improve and refine himself, expressing himself as an artist around in the clubs, growing and evolving in this profession. 

His trips to Berlin and in the capitals of Europe were fundamental and essential for his transition to the genre and style that he still proposes and which distinguishes him. 
He has a clear idea of what he wants to express, he knows well what must represent and the continuous music selection: know being an innovator, so he is always searching to bring new lymph.

Showing his mixture of deep techno and melodic textures, Main Leaf is the Italian born, Barcelona based DJ/producer, founder and creative head of @woodrecordlabel, lover of nature and art, visual designer, electronic musician, and amateur percussionist.

Today we welcome Edmond Weinfeld aka Ed Ed. Patience is a virtue, and it will pay off handsomely when you listen to Ed Ed's new recordings on labels such as Get Physical, Exploited, Watergate Records, Moodmusic, and others. His DJ mixes will pull you in, spew you out, and leave you a sweaty, happy mess in a calculated and engaging manner.

Bass groove twangs and rasps over a snappy beat, with a minimal approach to the accompaniments, opted for at first. Pitched-down vocals add haunting layers, and deep in the mix a droning techno synth rises and falls. Dashes of scintillating melodic scales work their way into the mix, heavily reverbed into the background. Next, a pizzicato-style blip riff passes through the track. Stabs pepper the track with more rhythmic intent, their tails extended here and there to draw them out further and deeper. All the while the shakers shuffle on and the beat and bass keep driving us forward.
