Andre Mayborn has been evolving as an artist and DJ since early 2016. His music reflects diverse ethnic themes from cultures all over the world that combine hypnotic grooves of African tribes, upbeat Balkan fusions, rhythmic ensembles of the Middle East, meditative chants of Asian temples, Indian shamanism and mystic Slavic folklore.

Often defined as avant-garde downtempo Andre's music takes his audience on a spiritual journey into the world guiding their imagination through mysterious times and places, triggers their deep emotions and thoughts, gives inspiration to their minds. The single, which originally debuted as part of the official Tomorrowland 2013 After Movie, is a sensational blend of traditional gypsy music, haunting flutes, wind and string instruments which are juxtaposed to perfection against a thundering, driving, sexy-as-hell beat absolutely brimming with funk – guaranteed to bring the biggest of houses crashing down as it powers out of international speaker systems.

News of ‘G.Y.P.S.Y.’s imminent release comes just days after the announcement of the pair’s forthcoming collaboration with Borgeous and DVBBS, ‘Stampede’ (due November 18th on Spinnin’ Records), and signals the sheer volume of music set to come out from the Belgian brothers over the coming months.
