A new label is born from France called Seclusion by owners Damien Lapéna and Anouar Hemissi who also appear on the first release as the remix artist 13130 Space Project alongside DTFA founder Mark Flash who has released on the legendary UR - Underground Resistance and EPM Music amongst others.

The two original works are supplied by Detroit-based pairing HLX-1 also known as Mr. Hooper and The AM. Kenny Clements is known for his live sets with Scan 7 and releases on Kevin Saunderson’s KMS, while Ann-Marie Teasley is a classical violinist and radio guest with NTS and Rinse, now they are both in Detroit and regularly collaborating under the new guise.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the second track “Curious City” that has a rolling feel and a timeless vibe. Using a stripped back style and electro-influenced, breathy sweeps that add the finishing touches to its straight rhythm, the break adds a looming mystery to this functional juggernaut that every DJ needs.

Augusto Taito, a young talented producer from Argentina, delivers 'Data Fluids', a notorious Latin influenced techno EP, released on Ucker. A record with a deep tribal feeling in its core structure. Opaque and groovy baselines are the main ingredient of the subtle tone of his tracks. Combining gentle usage of noise and percussive elements with a futuristic approach to the melodic section, Augusto manages to craft a feeling of being entranced, as possessed by a spell. Ricardo Garduno's version of 'Through Fire and Water' has the most pounding low end to surf through the cosmic waves of the immersive melodious loops he adapted perfectly and this is the track we premiere today on T.O.P, a dynamic, organic techno track with unexpected sci-fi textures, creating the sense of imminent mayhem.

Fresh off his album release on Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, Ocktawian brings three thumping tracks on this latest EP Unpatterns.  “Error Systems” starts off with a slamming assault of 909’s before delving into a tripped out sci-fi sound that almost overwhelms the senses. 

Sinxergy is a brand new Berlin based label that is focused on vinyl. The label aims at collaborating with artists and offer them a platform to express their creative freedom.

Andre Kronert has been delivering serious and enchanting music for several years now with his ODD / EVEN releases that has seen artists like Pfirter, Michael Klein, Jonas Kopp, Alexander Kowalski, Shlomi Aber and Johannes Heil contribute.

Markus Suckut has become a regular feature of the label’s catalogue and this latest EP Blurred Memories I is now his third appearance while also supplying his expert touch to some key remixes. For this DT:Premiere we selected the track called “Teufelsberg” that’s an impeccable, deep trip. Floaty and funky, this chunky, stripped groove ticks all the boxes with its raw drums and mellow, dreamy hook that has no trouble taking you on a refined ride.

Part two of Pfirter's IMAGERY series. Techno with harmony and drive. 

For the past fifteen years Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer Juan Pablo Pfirter has been pushing steely, dark and uplifting sounds. 

Musically, Pfirter has worked his magic with focus and style, gracing the likes of CLR, Figure, Mord, Stroboscopic, and Artefacts with choice singles whilst also headlining some of the most respected electronic music bastions and events such as: Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings and Time Warp. 

In 2006, Pfirter started his own imprint, MindTrip ,which has become an evolving techno-landscape. The label serves as both a vessel for his own output and that of his close friends and collaborators, such as Jonas Kopp, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dold, Fanon Flowers, and more.

Overall, Pfirter’s productions are always filled with the depth of energy that is needed right in the middle of the dancefloor to forget everyday life.

Behind The Sun (Dub) is the track that gives you first glimpse at the sound palette of this first record on russian label "Potential Move". Unlike many tracks with 303 bassline widely known for being used as a warehouse weapon knocking bricks hard out the wall, this track shows that it can have a bright, dreamy and somewhat, a romantic take on the genre delivering it in a very unusual way. The bassline is being accompanied with a blissful, lush pad adding a bit chorus and delay to taste creates a very harmonic vibe where all the elements are perfectly coming in together. If you’re looking for a jam that would be a soundtrack to your bright moments, don’t look no further - this one will do the trick without a doubt. We’ll stop from here and let the music speak for itself. We hope you’ll enjoy this beautiful piece of music as much as we did.

PREMIERE : Shelter On Wax - Behind The Sun (Dub)

The tall build overlooked the city with an overbearing sense of presence. The people who walked upon the streets beneath the towering beast were undermined and overwhelmed by its existence. It cast a shadow into the core of their homes and their lives. Within the confines of the luxury suites and the sprawling penthouses the rich would dine and play, happy in the carefree sense of disregard which was afforded to them by the four walls. Out there on the streets it was tough, a stark contrast to another life. 

Shelter On Wax is set to release a new EP called "Oranienstrasse" on Lagaffe Tales. The Berlin based producer offers great promise and we were also startlingly impressed by the Gnork remix which is lush, elegant house music at its finest.

The roundabout has corners. The speed increases. Bossman Axefield doing an old switch up before the lights blink into one big twisting remix. The harness of the dwelling mind is best served raw. This is a feast - this is a bibble. A halfpace is a staircase where the stair turns back in exactly the reverse direction of the lower flight of steps. This reminds me of a memory back in the '90s. Recognize those sounds? Can you fathom? I want this taxi ride to last forever.

Christian, alias C. Clearly, discovered his enthusiasm for electronic music in the late 1980s when wave, punk and EBM were still played on the same night in independent clubs in Germany. When techno became popular in the early 1990s, Christian spent his nights dancing and partying in Frankfurt clubs like 'Omen' and 'Dorian Gray'. Yet he didn't discover the turntables until in his 50s. In his mixes, electronic and techno appear in a variety of ways - melodious at times, or grooving, but usually straightforward and with a driving beat. Mind your breathing - and enjoy the beauty of the present moment.
