I wanted to create a track that reminds me of the great, long club nights where everything was dark, the strobe lights were flashing fast and the dense fog was eating everyone up. You can't see anything besides the silhouettes of a few bodies around you, bouncing at the same rhythm. That moment of revelation, sexstasy and freedom of being in such a gloomy, obscure, yet safe and happy place.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Shay Whelan. "San Junipero" comes off the new EP, Random Generation, forthcoming on Amsterdam's MÄRKED. The artist makes his debut on the label with four original groove-heavy tracks designed to shake the floor with deep, rumbling low-ends, while syncopated hats slice through, keeping the grooves locked in and razor-sharp.
