the TRUST XY recombination series continues with DJ DI'JITAL, MICROTHOL, ALEX CORTEX, and LUXUS VARTA assuming lab duties. each artist has selected a classic track from the TRUST catalogue to remix in their unique electro style.

DJ DI'JITAL breaks down DJ Glow's 'Whoami' [TRUST03, 2002] in MPC warfare fashion, MICROTHOL (@microthol) remake J/V/N Machine's 'Somewhere Tonight' [TRUST02, 2003] in what may well be their final ever transmission, minimal techno legend ALEX CORTEX (@alex-cortex) strips down 'Honokida' by /DL/MS/ [TRUST31, 2018] to a bare-bones synth line, and electro virtuoso LUXUS VARTA (@luxusvarta) brings out the sentimental funk in Populist's 'Psychometric Profiling [TRUST32, 2019].

Hayter is a member of the Leipzig-based Clear Memory Crew and Label. He has collaborated with projects such as Westlake & Hayter, Dog Balls, and Das A&O, and enjoys spending his time in the studio exploring different tools and techniques. His solo debut, Everyday, was released late last year on Kri Records, followed by the self-released five-track EP, Inspector Todd, just a few days ago.

Having James Shinra back on AF is always a cause for celebration, and doubly so this time because we present 'Meteorites’, his second album following the highly acclaimed Vital Heat (2018). During 2023-24, James uploaded a series of digital releases called 'Meteorites’, a set of dreamy and introspective tracks where the artist showed his evolution and maturity, refining the emotive sound that's his trademark and has garnered so much praise in recent years. We should do justice to that material, giving it a worthy treatment/format, so we decided to release all together. James has revisited and reworked many of the tracks for the occasion, polishing, adding, removing… and the result is 'Meteorites', the album. A MUST for all braindance sensibilities and nonconformist electronic  heads. We're sure it will remind you exactly why you loved this talented guy for so long and why he's one of the most uncompromising artists working in electronic music these days.

This debut release is a collaboration between two renowned Dutch labels, Zodiak Commune Records and Shipwrec, both with decades of rich history. This collaboration fused experimental electronics driven by Roland's TB 303's with IDM, electro, and jungle influences, aiming to provide thought-provoking music for both the dance floor and relaxed listening amid today's oversaturated dance music scene. "Enter the Ghost Ship", is the work of G303, a Zodiak Commune resident producer, stepping out of his hard acid comfort zone to explore a more emotional, dystopian, and sophisticated sound.
