This collaboration was originally started in Dirtwire's studio in Oakland, CA, a sprawling complex filled to the brim with every acoustic, and most electronic, instruments one could imagine. After an initial recording session, the track was finished long distance, navigating around each group's touring schedules. Overall the track is a perfect meld of Dirtwire's southwest inspired instrumentation, Plantrae's northwest inspired beats, and ultimately one more step towards both groups aspiration of merging instrumental and electronic music.
