'Simon Shaw's Sense Traxx marks a milestone fifty releases this June with an EP from RareTwo aka DJ Sneak and Tripmastaz, entitled 'Makin' Muzak'.

Over the past five years UK imprint Sense Traxx has unveiled an array of material leaning towards raw, underground house from the likes of Todd Terry, Nachtbraker, Kevin Over and of course label boss Simon Shaw. Here the label celebrates its fiftieth release, welcoming two heavyweights onto the roster, RareTwo aka DJ Sneak and Tripmastaz with their new two-tracker.

Title-cut 'Makin' Muzak' leads with bumpy drums, twisted synth melodies, snaking subs and spoken word vocals. 'Song For Derrick' follows, embracing a more classic House sound courtesy of a bouncy bass groove, intricately intertwined organic percussion, crunchy claps and synth bubbles, before the focal stages ease in a hypnotic organ line to further the fuel the rolling groove.'

EXPLRTN Recordings opens its story with the debut EP from ALPHA21 & JUNIOR (SL). Time Machine EP showcases their vision of deep, driving progressive house across two originals and two standout remixes. The title track Time Machine unfolds with hypnotic grooves and cinematic tension, while Gate 8 Journey offers a more atmospheric and melodic voyage. On remix duties, Rockka injects peak-time energy with a powerful melodic rework, and Imal SL strips the original into a rolling underground interpretation. Israeli-born Berlin based producer and DJ Omer debuts his first release on Cocktail d'Amore with two offerings of celestial house. The title cut blends the sounds of the east with an immediately seductive atmosphere of bright melodies leaving the listener plenty of room to be transfixed through it's entirety. “Dust” dives deeper to reveal a more melancholic mood built on a symphony of lush pads and swirling metallic percussion. On remix duties are the wonderfully quirky Estonian duo Ajukaja & Andrevski who deliver an oddball re-imagining which sends the original into outer space as it gently builds to sparkling fervor only heard on the outskirts of galaxies. Rounding out the release is Man Power with an acid tinged burner which explodes into en excitement of live percussion and pads leaving any dance floor in complete ecstasy.
