Swirling, dreamy pop hooks accentuated with the haunting sounds of Farfisa organ cloak the somber and sardonic musings of former Nightinghales front man and Fuck Knights. Ben Bachman in his new project, High Tiny Hairs.
 
The Minneapolis, MN-based effort lays bare and showcases Bachman’s stylistic influences, the likes of Alex Chilton, Brian Eno and Syd Barret, with a short set of self-produced releases. The songs, bouncing between sixties Baroque pop and the new psychedelic movement of the early eighties, are catchy, mesmerizing, elegant, and poetically dark. Stylish and quirky, thoughtful and romantic, singer/songwriter Bachman’s songs evoke a hazy, late night tête-à-tête with his ghosts.   

Crooked Saws recorded their debut album, Mo-Fi’, on a Saturday afternoon in Jesse’s living room using two mics and an old reel to reel machine. They raised five hundred dollars through a Kickstarter campaign, got the album pressed, began booking shows, and then Jesse almost died.

After Jesse’s six weeks in the hospital and three more months recovering, Crooked Saws went to work fueled by the intent only a brush with death can inspire.

In under six months they’ve opened for national act Reignwolf at First Avenue, had their music featured on Field and Stream’s popular show Hook Shots and the Outdoor Channel’s award winning show Head Hunters, and won the first round of Famous Dave’s Battle of the Blues Bands.

Bae Tigre is the musical project of Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter/producer & instrumentalist, Ranelle J.. Her 10-track debut album titled "Memoir of a Happy Drifting Chemical" was released online in mid-November 2014. The album written, recorded, and produced by Johnson; reflects the artist's inner-dialogue and conflict within a dynamic soundscape that combines electronic and classical influences. 

This summer, June 2015, Bae Tigre released its second EP. This time around, Johnson teamed up with longtime band cohorts, Alex Galle-From (viola) and Addison Wasson (cello), to record the album, which will showcase layers of live strings to bathe in, along with Johnson's playful vocals and symphonic production.
