I'm your host, Cliff Evans. This Sunday morning, we pay homage to a label that holds a special place in our hearts, the iconic ABC Records label. Originally known as Am Par and briefly as ABC Paramount in 1965, ABC Records has left an indelible mark on the music scene.

So, step into Evans' Records shop as I take you on a journey through some of my all-time favorite cuts from this legendary label. While ABC Records wasn't primarily known for its soul sound, it housed some incredible records that have become personal favorites of mine. First up, we have "Gotta Have Your Love" by The Sapphires, setting the stage for a soulful experience. The smooth harmonies of The Natural Four follow with "I Thought You Were Mine," capturing the essence of the era. The Yums Yums bring their infectious energy with "Gonna Be a Big Thing," while The Impressions deliver soulful vibes with "You've Been Cheatin'."

The Mighty Marvelows return with "In The Morning," continuing their soulful journey. The Reflections invite us to groove to "Like Adam & Eve," while Willie Hutch gets us moving with the infectious rhythm of "The Duck." Earl Jackson brings the soulful energy with "Soul Self Satisfaction," followed by The Natural Four's captivating "Why Should We Stop Now."

Chuck Jackson's soulful ballad "I Only Get This Feeling" touches our hearts, and The Metros close the episode with their soulful gem "Since I Found My Baby." These tracks represent just a taste of the incredible music that ABC Records has given us over the years.
