Here we are with our 150th session! Wow, big ups to everyone who tuned in live. We had so many listeners that Kbeach's server's were overloaded. We are so happy that this talented & vibrant woman SOSUPERSAM finally came through the studio. It's been a long time coming and we're happy that you finally get a feel for who she is musically and as a person. Wasn't quite sure what she was gonna play for us, but she showed a great diversity and really brought us back to a place that was very much needed towards the end of her set. She's even cooler as a person. Being humble and driven will always get you far. Joe Kay really brought out a diverse selection of music. If you missed the live broadcast then you missed out on an exclusive 25+ minute session that went past our 3rd hour and that only covered unreleased exclusives from our forthcoming catalog. 	Wheez-ie, a Texas born Detroit resident has already huffed and puffed his way onto Fools Gold, Well Rounded, and Trouble & Bass. This time he presents his most head-twisting effort yet - Missed Connections - four tracks of unrelenting energy, booming bass, and sweltering heat.

In 2015 a style of music came to light that was seemingly spawned out of Soundcloud. This sound is something created by producers with an ear for emotive, ethereal soundscapes, often drawing influence from rap productions. As big as the basslines are on much of the tracks in this mix, it's apparent that a lot of these songs are not built with the club in mind. With producers as young as 14 in this mix, it's pretty easy to see why that would be the case given many of them have never stepped foot inside a nightclub. 
In 2015 it's easier to get hold of a copy of FL Studio or Ableton than it is to get your hands on a set of CDJ's, so not only are many of these tracks not built for the club, many of them are not built with the DJ in mind either. Intros with odd numbers of beats, and even intros with filter rises all the way to the drop are not uncommon. But as awkward as it can be to physically mix these tracks without the aid of pre planned ableton sessions or some form of bpm locking, it is a sound that cries out to be recognised on a global scale, away from the comfort of Soundcloud, and therefore has really grabbed my attention in the past 18 months. 
I put this mix together to highlight some of the amazing talents and tracks that I've managed to pick up mostly on Soundcloud or on Bandcamp. This is a truly independent movement far removed from the mainstream music moguls. It is music built in the purest of senses. I present this mix to you in hope of opening your ears to some of the most exciting producers I've come across sprawling Soundcloud on the hunt for raw talent. 
Salute to all of the producers, label heads, channels and the listeners on this one. Chris Reed, also known as Plastician (formerly Plasticman), is a Producer / DJ from Thornton Heath in the London Borough of Croydon.

Plastician is unique in that he is respected as one of the true pioneers of both the Dubstep, Grime and most recently Wave genres. 

Always reputed for selecting from a broad range of bass heavy styles and seeking out the genres that emerge from between established scenes.

He plays a monthly radio show on Rinse FM, where he has been credited for breaking many artists and collectives on his show, some artists who had their first plays on his shows include Joker, Om Unit, Klasey Jones, Mura Masa and countless more.

In 2006 he spent 18 months on BBC Radio 1, making him the world's first DJ to have a specialist dubstep and grime radio show on national radio.
