DowntempoLove is a multicultural art collective based in Berlin. Seeking true passion for music and artistic expression of human kind our events are focused on the ground-minded, likewise-thinking, interested in the raw and natural development of life itself.
In the Music scene a lot of labels and collectives are identifying themselves with the spiritual, sometimes ancient or even mystical. Also, when we are strong believers of the supernatural and empowerment of the mind for becoming a better self, for us often is missing the active part of improving our society and really creating awareness of what is wrong. Through these thoughts we are looking for artists who are supporting the critical view on society, questioning state and its leaders, and even going as far as seeing false flags and supporting alternative views on life itself. With DowntempoLove we have big things in mind, but we need to start somewhere :) We really want to create a community and help our artists to help each other and other disciplines in life as well.

Sol Selectas is very pleased to present  Re:Imagined album by Satori. This album features 3 originals from Satori, and 6 re-imagined songs  from the Sol Selectas back catalogue.  

Since the success of his remix of Unders’ “Syria” track in 2017, Satori has taken the dance music world by storm,  touring the globe both as a solo artist, and with his newly formed “Band from Space”, and holding a summer residency in Ibiza called “Maktub”.

Once a year in his hometown, Satori does a special 10 hour live set mixing his original music with songs by other respected producers.  It was during this 10 hour set that he literally Imagined the idea to produce an entire album of Sol Selectas back catalogue reworks.  With each Re:imagined song, Satori dives deep into the origins of the music, discovering the cultural influences, geographical location of the samples, and researching the roots of every sound present. The result is a musical composition which takes the listener on a true cultural journey around the globe, and back to the Universe itself. 


The artwork by Helia Jamali honors the origins and roots of the songs in the album, with elements  that represent each place, sound and vibe. The heavenly being seated travels between the stars and galaxies, reimagining time travel.
