Seb Jay runs In The Pit Records which was born from Snake Pit party in Adelaide (Tarntanya) and has been on the local scene for over 20 years as a punter, dancer, DJ, promoter and more recently a producer. 

Seb’s DJ style floats between House, Italo, Electronica & Techno, with his sets being tailored to each dance floor for a unique musical journey every time. 

Seb’s productions are raw, meandering between straight-up club-ready dance music and dim-lit late night wine bar, oriented with a variety of House, Techno and Low Tempo styles, notably with a cheeky nod to Adelaide’s brand of the ‘90s.

Having spearheaded local Adelaide record label INTHEPIT.RECORDS, now on its second vinyl release with a massive local and European welcome, Seb is preparing his third pressing as well as a fourth release featuring fellow Snake Pit crew producers for their vinyl debut. 

The label focuses on the dance floor, with its influence drawn primarily from the infamous Snake Pit parties, while referencing Adelaide’s historic, rich local clubbing heritage of the ‘80s and ‘90s, from which Snake Pit bred.

Located in Brisbane, Australia - Citizen Doe loves a journey set and aspires to push musical boundaries. You can expect dark, textured sounds ranging from dirty electronica to hypnotic dub techno that chugs along. Find her playing at various club nights and doofs either supporting big names such as Wehbba, as a headliner or as one half of Louis' Dance her alter ego techno duo. 

Citizen Doe always brings something fresh to the table; not only in her DJ sets, but by being one of the organizers for the club nights and coinciding radio show “MODE - The darker side of techno”. MODE is more that just your standard club night, instead an overall musical and visual experience, where artists are encouraged to unleash underground sounds you wouldn't expect to hear.
