Originating from the thought of a drug trip in the Metaverse and being heavily influenced by PS1 games and Y2K aesthetics, "The Virtual Trip" is the culmination of all the styles I like to play with in my music:
Atmospheric electronics, 90's Jungle and Hardcore, psychedelic Trap / Hip Hop, and a Plunderphonic-esque mish-mash of samples.

Sweet Stuff

People often refer to dance tracks as "filthy" but rarely is it as true as for this monstrosity. Demon's whole new Narcotiks EP is rude and raw, a fearsomely-constructed flashback to 2005 and the breaksteppy interface between grime, dubstep and jungle inhabited by Vex'd and a few other reprobates. But "Sex Tapes" is something else, a collaboration with maverick mic-man Beezy - who appeared on Demon's Ramification EP in 2012 - full of non-stop pornography as filtered through the very sickest of minds. You'll have to wait for the full EP to hear the full grimness of Beezy's imagination, but this exclusive dub version has plenty filth to be getting on with.

"I really wanted this mix to represent as much of my musical world as possible, it's a journey through the different sounds I love and play. I think for a while, there was an assumption about what I play in my sets, but the truth is, my sets change all the time. Every party has its own energy, its own crowd, and there’s just so much music out there that deserves to be heard. This mix was my way of showing that range, from emotional and unexpected moments to heavier club gear."
