The International Feel label specialises in, as someone in the BR office said last week “life-is-good music”. Formed in Punte del Este in Uruguay then relocated to its natural home in Ibiza, the label is the sine qua non of luscious Balearic music, full of disco luxury, waves of hazy psychedelia and more than a hint of 80s yacht rock decadence. No wonder legends like DJ Harvey and Matt Edwards have taken on new guises to record for it. A new EP from the duo of Toby Tobias and Daniel Mode as Double Knots is as evocative of the modernist high-life as anything they've done, not least in this swooning, subtly surging remix from T.T. on his own.
