Chlär holds this perpetual need to learn and improve, convinced of the fundamental relationships humans share with the groove. His productions and performances are attempts to awaken the tribal and primitive instinct that sleeps in each of us. His sets are direct crowd-galvanizers, with technical and forward-thinking blends of grooves featuring loops of his own production. Always improvising through relentless 3-4 decks actions, his context sensitive approach to performances is fueled by an highly effective audience reading which will guarantee an electrifying moment, no matter the set time and duration.

He is also a mastering engineer and recently founded his own imprint Primal Instinct Rec. Chlär is sharpening his musical senses and abilities on many sides of the industry, by being an artist and
engineer but also working in A&R and Event Management, recently earning him the award of “Raver’s Choice’’ by the Raving Spoon awards.

For number 62 we are thrilled to present you an up-and-coming young artist, who has cemented himself as a staple of today's underground scene. We are  referring to Chlär, a talented producer and DJ from Switzerland, whose releases on labels such as COUP, Voxnox Records, RAW and Bipolar Disorder Rec. - just to name a few - have garnered widespread support in the scene. His sound is energetic, highly infectious and oriented towards the dancefloor, regularly fusing elements of hard trance and pounding oldschool grooves. To give you a taste of what we are talking about, sit back and enjoy this mix, which transitions from more groovy cuts in the first half to banging rave sounds in the latter.
