A gorgeous slice of electronic disco from San Fran tastemakers, Dream Chimney, who present Icelandic producer, Tonarunur, and his ‘Geimotheque EP’.
A familiar name to fans of the Dream Chimney imprint, Tonarunur has been contributing to multiple Dream Chimney compilations with his unique brand of electronic boogie space disco. Tonarunur hails from the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik. His music is diverse, ranging from Sunday-friendly pieces to dance-floor-oriented grooves and has been released on Eskimo Recordings and Whiskey Disco.

The ‘Geimotheque EP’ is a testament to Tonarunur's ability to blend classic disco influences with modern production techniques. Kicking off with the slow-burn of ‘Give Me Your Word’, followed by the more dancefloor-ready energy of the  ‘Whose Future?’. Picking up the pace with the deep, bass-heavy ‘Will I See You Again?’, culminating in the epic, eleven-minute masterful space disco symphony ‘Lifting Off.’ Sparkling, warm, and festive, ‘Geimotheque’ is a Christmas treat indeed

a Berlin-based musician and sound artist, creates majestic soundscapes for concerts, installations, and films. His music is an invitation to explore oneself and the world, with sounds that shape spaces and evoke moods.

With a repertoire ranging from electronics to pure piano voice, VOLTRA creates atmospheres that move effortlessly between concert halls, galleries, and clubs. His timbres range from floating synth pads and glitchy textures to intimate piano lines accompanied by expressive vocals. These diverse soundscapes that nevertheless emerge as if from a single breath: electronic structures meet organic melodies and digital layers merge with human warmth.

DARIUZ VOLTRA's music isn't the result of formulas, but rather an exploration that simultaneously sets viewers and listeners in motion towards the end of all boundaries and the beginning of new perspectives. VOLTRA creates sonic spaces in which boundaries open and the senses are readjusted. His music invites us to discover ourselves and see the world around us with new eyes.
