Recently signed to Anetha’s label and agency Mama Told Ya / Mama Loves Ya, Mac Declos is certainly one of the most promising artists of today’s Parisian techno scene. As a former professional Hip Hop dancer, he knows the key to a sound that never fails to make you dance - eclectic, sophisticated, and always groovy.

Testifying to this is his Nelly Furtado edit "Give It To Me (Nelly X-Rated Edit)" in collaboration with Lacchesi, now accumulating almost 3.3 million listens on Soundcloud. Discover about his influences, approach to sound and upcoming project in this interview for his VOLTAGE podcast.

Swiss DJ and producer based in Berlin, Chlär is an artist emphasizing groove through blending tribal, vintage style club music with a modern touch. Using 3 or 4 decks in the booth, his high energy mixes combine rhythm-heavy tracks with his own production loops, ensuring the orginality of his work. 

Wearing many hats in his scene, Chlär has worked with leading labels such as Mutual Rytm, Taapion, RAW or Lobster Theremin and co-runs label Bipolar Disorder Rec. 

Not only an artist and sound engineer but also a professional of A&R and events management, Chlär has won the ‘’Raver’s Choice’’ award from the 2021 Raving Spoon Awards, rewarding leading figures of the scene.

OGUZ @ Verknipt Festival 2023 | 11 Juni

Strongly shaped by the raw and forward-leaning sound of 90’s Techno, Milan based artist Alarico Zucchi started his journey into electronic music in 2015 making his way through clubs as a DJ while learning the art of music production. 

The inauguration of ‘Alarico’ occurred in 2019 after previously exploring several sub-genres of Techno. The alias was formed as a statement to showcase a style that was personal to him. Personal in a way that he became captivated within the patterns and structures of his own sound. So-much-so that his multiple our long podcasts solely consisting of his own material made him stand out from a whole host of young and promising producers and DJs. 

Known for fast paced rhythms and kinky grooves he has released music consistently since his debut in 2020 on Joton’s imprint “Newrhytmic Records”. Shortly after he launched his own vinyl imprint “Katana Records”, which showcases the more mental and introverted side of his idea of Techno. He certainly cemented his rank in today’s Techno landscape through releases on Matrixxman’s highly acclaimed “The Grid”, Token Records and sees a bright future with a forthcoming release on SHDW & Obscure Shape’s newest endeavour “Mutual Rytm”. 

Alarico continues to position himself as a unique music lover, exploring the depths and possibilities of sound. He stands for permanently pushing boundaries and stirring this attitude with his background of Hip Hop and Japanese culture.

While being labelled one of the spearheads of rave revival over the past few years, Dublin native Tommy Holohan has done much more than attach himself to a trend throughout his rise to the tip of every techno fan's tongue. Having leapfrogged his way to the top of the Irish pecking order through releases on his own Rave Selekts label alongside an appearance on Dax J's Monnom Black, plus Skull Crushing Techniques Volumes 1 and 2 on the Berlin-based imprint HAVEN, his popularity has swung further inland as he rises the European ranks, thanks to his unrelenting techno style that infuses the intensity of UK sounds with the driving techno we've come to expect from mainland Europe.

With his productions doing the rounds online and in record shops, he himself leaves nothing on the table when it comes to his selection, having gotten the nod from Boiler Room last year where he delivered one of the most memorable festival sets the online platform has seen. All the while, he has uprooted dance floors in Griessmuehle, Corsica Studios, District 8, Life Festival. With nods from established techno heads such as Blawan, SPFDJ, Sunil Sharpe, DJ Stingray, Helena Hauff and more, he has carved out a respected name that is only growing on a weekly basis.
