Bristol based DJ and producer K-65, is known for subby basslines and cutting breaks across multiple tempos. More recently incorporating heavy influence from the dark underground world of electro, his productions now fuse acid, wubs and 808s with whipping snares and rolling breaks. Aiming to make hard hitting tracks for the UK’s dancefloors, his productions strive to be high in energy and dark in flavour.

With a deep-rooted background in drum & bass, Komodo is known for delivering captivating sets that navigate a range of intricate rhythms and sounds. His journey started after discovering Brisbane’s underground DNB scene and outdoor events in SEQ, which had him hooked immediately and ignited his passion to start mixing. These grassroot gatherings and events still guide his musical evolution—and keeps him grounded in the community that inspired him.

Over the years, he developed his sound and style, crafting journeys that flow through genres such as DNB, 140 and halftime. Komodo has shared the stage with international artists including Paige Julia, Hypho, PAV4N, S.P.Y., General Levy, Mungo’s Hifi, and Halogenix, and performed at notable festivals including Imbolc in South Australia, Initiation Festival over New Year's Eve in 2023, and Archaic Gathering in North Queensland. With each set he remains committed to evolving, looking for ways to creatively push boundaries and deliver captivating performances.
