The Her Records unit are no strangers to BR: their family showcase on our channels remains one of the rugged gemstones in our deep archive. Release after release, their aesthetic has risen with stark distinction: a steady salvo of machine-house and metallic club ammunition, sharply-hewn for dancefloor use only.

Next in Her's armoury is 'Hague Basement' –– a bumper single from  NKC, one of the label's most exciting new recruits. Though he's been an unslippable disc in Her's backbone for a minute now, his debut statement for the imprint has been a long time coming. Gladly it doesn't fall short.

Of the three workouts on HER012, its title track is our pick of the litter: a no-nonsense bout of juggernaut drums and vocal incantations, all built to destroy the dance. Urgent, tribal and (really fucking) hard, it's fuel to feed the tireless few found after lights up in basements from South London to Den Haag.

Nervous Horizon is very proud to present TSVI’s debut album: ‘Inner Worlds’.

The album is about reconnecting to one’s true self and the discovery of the inner worlds: it is born from an ongoing artistic journey, which began in TSVI’s childhood.

The artist grew up with parents who practise Hinduism, which is quite unusual for an Italian family. In most recent times he was hugely inspired by his partner’s religious and musical background, after she exposed him to Middle Eastern music and Sufi ideologies. TSVI started creating tracks that were influenced by bellydance percussionists such as Emad Sayyah and Hossam Ramzy, combined with Dancehall, Tarraxo and Trance.

The album is largely influenced by the role of music in transcendental Sufi practices and resembles an inner journey through different states of meditation and self-discovery.

Vedic and Tantric knowledge are also important here. Each track is a state of mind from the opening one, ‘Root’, to the last one, ’Crown’, as they represent the first and last 
Chakras and all the other states found in-between.

Get ready to embark on a journey through mind, body and soul.

Born in Philadelphia, raised in LA and currently based in Brooklyn, club vanguard DJ Swisha is making some of the most exciting and vital dance music today. Hailed by the Washington Post as a leader in “a new generation of black artists reclaiming the roots of techno music,” the producer and DJ is a constant presence in underground speakers, whether tearing up warehouses with his Juke Bounce Werk crew or dropping legendary Boiler Room streams stuffed with Jersey Club classics, futuristic house and his own hybrid originals. DJ Swisha’s debut Fool’s Gold EP Nothing But Net shoots even higher as the purest distillation of his polyglot, polyrhythmic ethos to date: five dancefloor-first tracks including the relentless thump of “Methods” and “Fake Molly,” the hypnotic loops of the title track and “Reconstructed Club,” and even a vocal assist from fellow Philly icon Bahamadia on drum machine workout “Crypto.”

The Nasty But Attractive EP originally circulated as a single, hand-penned CD-R that was burned for the club and then mistakenly donated to the Vilnius branch of Humana. Several months later, the tracks found their way back to DJ JM, when he uncovered the CD down the side of a sofa at an afterparty in Copenhagen. Vowing never to make the same mistake, JM is now sharing these six rave-drum slappers with all MP3 enthusiasts.

Starting out in 2011, Couvre x Chefs is the passion project of French DJ's and producers, Philou CxC and BJF. Together they have built an online platform curating the best in emerging club music. 

Comprising an online magazine, events and a residency with Rinse France, they extended their curation with a label arm last year, putting out the 'Plage Club Vol. 1' various artists comp. They now prep their next release. A solo outing from CxC co-founder, BJF, titled 'Iridescent' EP.

Today we have the first listen on track 'Jamuna'. A heavy-hitting drum track starring the Japanese shakuhachi flute, the buoyant rhythm and programming of Jamuna makes for an undeniable body-mover. We can't wait to hear it on the floor when clubs are back on form.

Hailing from Paris, duo Amor Satyr & Siu Mata make their debut on NHS with two mutated dance hall inspired cuts laden with manic energy and seriously hard drum work. Following up their debut collaboration on Hiedrah Club de Baile comprised of two tracks focused on the 150bpm range, the pair slow down things to around the 100bpm mark. This has no effect on the frantic energy however, as both releases maintain a level of madness through the double time percussion programming and warped melodic aesthetics; an offering of truly innovative club tracks from these two fine producers.
