Ever since we recorded that iconic Quantic set video on the boat, I've wanted to record a set of his partner in crime on the Ondatrópica project, Mario Galeano! So here's finally Mario, also known as the leader of the psychedelic cumbia project Frente Cumbiero, and a prime researcher and record collector of everything cumbia and Columbian traditional music. I had the chance to record him on my last trip to Bogota in the lovely Paradisco bar in the Chapinero neighborhood, a highly recommended audiophile and music lover spot if you're in town! Enjoy!
