Plenty of talk around Rick Wilhite seems to be how under-rated he is compared to his 3 Chairs peers Theo Parrish, Moodymann and Marcellus Pittman and Detroit compatriots. If he was from any other city in the world, the concept of being under-represented would be ludicrous for a producer of such stature and DJ of such capability, so let’s put aside perceptions and salute The Godson for what he is: a premier selector, curator and maker of music.

I'm not one to shy away from being honest, soooooo. It was Tuesday afternoon and I decided to get sideways and record a mix. 

To paint a picture I've been alone for 28 days now and was desperate for a dance myself. Music gives me life and I hadn't really been listening to much and then decided it was time to take the lid off BABY!

The following was recorded in an Airbnb in Lisboa with one extremely shit mixer soz.. it's as real and raw as it gets. 

Hope you can enjoy a dance esp if your solo atm ....fuck it, just turn the lights off and go for it. Hopefully you can forget about whats going on in the world for an hour and half.
