An artistic community of electronic musicians and visual artists, Vinyl Jam was recently formed in St. Petersburg. 
Vinyl Jam presents to the public a combination of dj sets, live performances and video art in the format of musical salons. The nature of the salon format encourages more original creative ideas, and the space it provides promotes a more sensitive reception of the performances. This contrasts with the top-down performer/spectator dichotomy of conventional music events.
Vinyl Jam is the open kitchen of St Petersburg’s electronic scene, where the boundary between performer and audience is fluid. Every visitor becomes the intimate witness and participant of a unique and live audio-visual jam.
