Ethiopian Records' - Listening to your heart - In a neocolonialist 4_4 world, is a 1 hour and 34 minutes sonic ode to the diverse, ever-evolving, resilient, unconquerable, loving spirits that walk his home planet and his home continent.  He does so with the help of all the sampled musicians. It's over an hour long mix of electronic performance and original productions.

Gibt es eine Gleichung für die Liebe? Kann man Gefühle, Zuneigung, geistige und körperliche Anziehung anhand von Formeln und Algorithmen berechnen? 

Zugegeben, die Vorstellung maximaler Kompatibiltät mittels Formeln klingt futuristisch und wenig romantisch. Glaubt man jedoch Partnervermittlungen und Kuppelshows, so ist es keine Fiktion ... es ist Realität. 

Heute werden Tagesabläufe mittels Technik durchchoreografiert, Körperfunktionen durch Wearables überwacht und optimiert, das Eigenheim wird für größtmöglichen Komfort zum Smart Home umfunktioniert. Wir wollen stets das Maximum, darum bleibt vieles nichts mehr nur dem bloßen Zufall überlassen. 

Offen bleibt, ob der vermeintlich perfekte Partner, sich auch im wahren Leben zur Nummer 1 entwickelt, oder ob es aufgrund zu vieler Variablen, nur eine weitere ungelöste Gleichung bleiben wird.

Fux & Hase - Studio Set Summer 2020

Der heutige KataHaifisch Special-Podcast ist von co:co aka Conny Bertram. Die junge Hamburgerin ist noch neu in der elektronischen Szene und hat bisher drei Sets auf ihrem SoundChannel veröffentlicht. In ihren Kreationen kombiniert sie die verführerischen Vibes des Melodic Techno mit der prallen Power des Peak-Time Technos. Ihr Podcast für KataHaifisch steht den anderen Exemplaren in nichts nach und schäumt nur so über vor technoider Energie. 

In den nachfolgenden 67 Minuten lässt sich ein unverkennbarer roter Faden heraushören. Von Track zu Track und von Break zu Break steigt die Spannung. Dieser akustische Nervenkitzel motiviert am Ball zu bleiben und zieht, wie von alleine die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich.
