Born on June 18, 1983, in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Dafunka (originally known as Dafunk) has been deeply passionate about music from an early age. His journey into the world of electronic music began in the clubs of his hometown, where he was introduced to club music at a young age. By the age of 15, he started spinning his first records, learning the art of DJing alongside friends. In 2001, Dafunk officially took to the decks, and over time, evolved into the artist now known as Dafunka.

At the age of 23, Dafunkas moved to Buenos Aires in search of new opportunities to showcase his talent. This move marked a significant step in his career, as he began to establish himself within the local electronic music scene. In 2019, driven by a desire to expand his horizons, Dafunkas relocated to Barcelona. Through relentless dedication and hard work, he has carved out a prominent place for himself in the city's vibrant music scene.

Dafunkas is now a key member of the Rhythm Control Gang, a collective known for its influence in the electronic music community. He has performed at some of Barcelona's top clubs and has graced the stages of major festivals and venues across Europe, earning a reputation as a skilled and dynamic DJ.
