A key player in Cairo’s alternative electronic scene, @3phaz has found success in crafting a raw, distorted and deconstructed spin on the Egyptian genres of Mahraganat and Shaabi. Merging these localised sounds with the likes of harddrum, footwork and techno, the end result is a singular dance floor vision which challenges and thrills in equal measure.
