Special Kay is a Toronto-based open-format DJ, well-known in the Cannabis community for bringing people together through music and culture. Growing up with an open ear for sounds from around the world, she developed a diverse musical palette that now shapes her unique style. After six years in Cannabis event planning, she combined her passion for community with her love of music, curating cannabis-friendly charity events that highlight inclusivity and connection.

Trained by Juno Award–winning talent The Halluci Nation, Special Kay redefines open-format DJing by blending global influences—English, Dutch, Lebanese, and beyond—with edits, house, afro, and unexpected samples. Her sets go beyond entertainment, offering a fresh musical experience that feels almost healing—playing you the sounds you didn’t know you needed while keeping the energy cohesive and unforgettable.
