Production duo anamē remix “Tears From The Moon,” Conjure One’s seminal 2002 track featuring Sinéad O’Connor.

No track pulls on the heartstrings quite like Conjure One’s “Tears From The Moon.” Sinéad O’Connor’s lyrics about love, loss and despair create a tsunami of emotion, while Conjure One’s simple drums and rich orchestra sound like heartbreak personified. When Tiestö remixed the track in 2004 he retained the emotion while making it dance floor-ready. Unsurprisingly, it became an instant hit and inspired thousands of producers – anamē included. 

anamē is the new project from Marcus Schössow, (previously gardenstate) and Thomas Sagstad. Remixing “Tears From The Moon” was a lifelong ambition for the pair, seeing as Tiestö’s remix was one of their personal anthems. 

The remix is anamē’s third release on Anjunabeats, following “Influencer” with BLR and Robbie Rise and “Gratitude” in collaboration with Above & Beyond. Since launching the project in 2022, anamē has played at Anjunabeats Europe and Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge, and supported Above & Beyond at their Gashouder shows in Amsterdam in May 2022. anamē are set to release plenty more music throughout the year and will be supporting Above & Beyond at Brooklyn Mirage on August 21 and at Group Therapy Weekender London on September 10.

Conjure One is the ambient, down-tempo project from Rhys Fulber, who is also one half of trance duo Delerium. “Tears From The Moon” was a single from his eponymous first album, and has 1.7m streams on Spotify to date. Sinéad O’ Connor is a ‘90s icon, with her 1999 hit “Nothing Compares 2 U” topping charts worldwide and reaching 232m streams on Spotify. She’s released 10 albums, two of which went Gold in the UK, and worked alongside global superstars including Prince, U2 and Massive Attack.

"Remixing ‘Tears From The Moon’ was one of the easiest choices of our lives,” says anamē. “We both grew up listening to the Tiësto remix, and we wanted to incorporate that into our sets but in our own way. The vocals from Sinéad O'Connor just hit you right in the heart, and that's what it's all about.”

Playing on the chords of your soul, it would take some time to reach that Sol. This will be a trip of revelation, of discovery, of new understandings, and most importantly – of a new creation emerging into the world. This is the second journey of Static Movement, aka Shahar Shtrikman from Israel, who was inspired by the birth of his first daughter – Sol - to explore the soundscape of the melodies that capture that special moment in time and correlate with the meaning; both a musical key and the sun. In order to do that, he decided to take his craft to the next level and introduce a piece that flows exclusively from his inner rhythm. 

After his debut album Circle of Life was released in 2013 on Yellow Sunshine Explosion, he experimented and tried to see where he can take his art; from the Eps Put Your Glasses On and onto Inner Voice, he developed unique sounds. He also collaborated with other artists such as Egorythmia, aka Boban Lazovski, in Other Dimensions of Space, joined forces with Gaudium, aka Andreas Wennersköld, to create Spiritual Energy on Iboga records, and also teamed up with Klopfgeister, aka Thorsten Paul, to show that Anything is Possible on Spintwist records. After absorbing all those tunes, it was time to create this masterpiece. 

Discovering that special Sol feels like discovering Elements of Freedom. It overflows you with Liquid Vibrations that occasionally bring Distortion of My Mind. It creates an effect where you say – I am Away from My Body, but it actually means that you are drifting to a Magical Journey induced by Lsdreams. That newly discovered realm signifies the Dawn of Time and will allow you to Explore the Unknown.

James Condon & John Ridout are friends from Oxfordshire, with a total experience of 50 years in dance music. 
As producers, promoters and DJ’s who first played together nearly 25 years ago, they have combined their love of hard dance with a total unwillingness to quit and are proud to bring you the next step in their music evolution.

John started as a DJ in 1999 playing regularly in Oxford at the renowned The Coven, known as J.T.B. and was the Slinkie resident DJ for their Oxford parties.

2004 he moved into promotions and production under Ringleader Interplanetary Productions, vinyl label RiP Records & RiP Digital. 

Started Hard Limit digital label using only hardware for productions and was featured in Mixmag with ill Behaviour 2012

When trackitdown came to an end, so did all the labels and he decided to concentrate on production, singer song writing and editing videos in 2015.

Various YouTube channels followed, and a new dance music artist was born, Interstellar Troublemaker who released various genres on Speedsound Recs. but kept the hard dance love alive with 30 tracks on Fired Up Records

Lost in Another Reality was also born during this time, for song writing & video experimentation.
This culminated in a a 3 ½ yearlong project of 19 songs and videos all made in his bedroom, Clockhouse Studios, in west Oxfordshire. A 90-minute HD ‘musical’ called Cover Your Ears [The Full Story] was the outcome. 

2019 thing got a little quiet in the studio and due to long term illness, business problems and let’s not forget COVID, he decided to sell up, drop everything and move to Worcestershire to reset his life. 
After a couple of years of healing, firing up the decks ignited the flame, and he felt the pull of the studio with a few epic songs making their way out 

A contact from James Condon “Fancy doing some tracks together?” in 2024, was the perfect timing and what was needed to get the studio rocking once again.
