 21+ years after its first recording and 15 years since the original album release, we give you this brand new remix of the synthpop classic "Separate Ways". This track will be included in the long awaited re-release of Joy Machine: The Best That Never Was. Slated for release later this year, the updated and remastered album will feature new remixes and rare recordings from this much sought after band.

This remix was created by Tim Heireth, with additional mix and 
Mastering by Simon Matthews, both former members of Joy Machine.

Separate Ways (Chance Encounters mix)

I shouldn't have waited so long to do this. David Bowie has been one of the most influential artists in my personal history, he made being 'weird' a kind of transcendence. When the going gets tough i ask myself "what would David Bowie do?" (and the answer of course is "he'd be David Bowie").

So this is my twisted take on Major Tom's dilemma, remixed from the acapella and liberally altered. Call it 'witch house' or 'dubstep' maybe, this'll sound killer in your cones.
