Psychedelic trance

Originally released in 1993, Two Full Moons & A Trout was one of the seminal releases on Platipus Records.

It was picked up by Rising High in 1994 featuring the epic remix by Caspar Pound and mix by Friends Lovers & Family.

Platipus delivered 2 further remixes in 2006 by Luke Chable, Chab and Tetonik^.

Now 7 years later and 20 years after the original release, we thought it's time for a fresh take on this legendary release.

This time round from with mixes from Belgium's Airwave, Israel's Freedom Fighters & Domestic and USA's Terra Ferma, each bringing their own take within today's sound along with the Original 14" Mix.

HALLUCINOGEN is Simon Posford’s solo project, he is also in the popular bands SHPONGLE and YOUNGER BROTHER.  His Track SHAMANIX was initially released on TIP Record’s compilation YELLOW, the first edition of the Shiva series, back in Dec 1994.  It would set dancefloors alight with it’s explosive tribal, acid groove and became an instant hit and a seminal track in the Goatrance genre. 

In October 1995, Shamanix featured on Hallucinogen’s groundbreaking first album called TWISTED on YOUTH’s record label DRAGONFLY where Simon had been working as the in-house engineer.

Fast forward to 2022 >>> DOMESTIC and SPACECAT have remixed this classic and brought it a new shine with their modern production, but whilst carefully keeping the vibe and style of the original.  This has produced a monster of a remix that has been reigniting dancefloors much in the same way it did 28 years ago!  We at TIP are immensely proud to have released the original and now this fantastic remix.

"New Moon" is a two-track EP that captures the artistic journey Amigdala has traveled to bring this project to life. With a fat, groovy bassline and deep, theatrical melodies that evoke profound emotions, each note is infused with musical wisdom.

Kallio represents our inner self that strives to adapt, to accept and to learn from the changes in our lives. His path is the symbolic journey of the Artist, who faces everyday new challenges and can only succeed by liberating his creative flow. 
With this exclusive track, I want to solicit everybody not to loose the focus on their inner selves because that is the place where the solution is: If you ask him the solution, Kallio will provide you the strenght to find the right answer.

Released in 2005 Balloonatic Part One rewrote the book of what was possible to achieve in a psytrance tune, virtually single handedly kicking off the style that is today known as Hi-Tech.. In the way that The Sex Pistols inspired dozens of bands/artists to make punk rock, Eskimo inspired dozens of Israeli kids to make hard edged rave inflenced psytrance. a style that is still very much in evidence in 2020
