DVS is an emcee, poet and storyteller from Perth, Western Australia.

Drawing a likeness to the conscious Hip Hop movement of the early-2000s, DVS is an emcee with a focus on conscious lyricism, treating his arrangement of words with a tragic obsessiveness.

A true-to-form lyric poet, DVS has held the Western Australian Slam Poet title, as well as winning the Perth Slam. Through connecting with words, his poetry has lead him to be a Panellist and Guest Performer at the Bali Emerging Writers Festival (2011), amongst other accolades.

Bearing his teeth across the literary board, DVS is an accomplished and award winning screenwriter and film director. Throughout his body of work, DVS maintains a consistent thread of humanity.

‘Do-2x aka. Dee-Official’ is a veteran rhymer with almost a decades worth of experience on the mic. Straddling the line between a hip-hop and grime mcee, ‘Do-2x’ is known for his unique voice, interesting flow and clever wordplay.
After beginning a B.A Honours Creative Music course in 2007 he began producing under his ‘Dubba Dubs’ alias , creating mainly hip-hop instrumentals but with an experimental twist.
