The first track on the EP comes with courtesy of Human Machine, a musical project comprised of four Sicilian DJs and friends. ‘Africa’ features slow building layers of synth chords over a strolling bassline, for a straight up track that fits perfectly into the Diynamic sound.

Part of the Particles summer release schedule, Rick Pier O'Neil and Desaturate continued a rich vein of production form with their "Crouch/Cursed" EP in July 2016. Now Particles revisits the EP as "Crouch" receives a pair of remixes from the USA and Israel.

Dan Stark and Sertac Sahin are two US based artists joining forces for an aural assault on the deep and tech house genre with impressive results. Coming together from diverse backgrounds, both are accomplished producers and DJs in their own rights with their solo work hitting a plethora of different labels since the turn of the decade. Finding renewed vigour through their collaborative approach, the monthly show, "The Way" on Proton Radio, launched a new offensive to "showcase their signature sound" through a juxtaposition of different approaches and styles that complement each other when brought together. Commencing in March 2016, the show continues to go from strength to strength.

Production work that began with March 2015's remix of Hernan Cerbello for Low Pressings, has continued at rapid pace over the past twelve months. Thus, a growing catalogue of original works for Witty Tunes, Zenbi and Go Deeva has impressed, remixed by such leading lights as Sweden's Inkfish. A remix of Oliver Lieb's "Caldera" in February 2016 represented a fine Particles debut for Stark and Sahin, so it is with pleasure that we now welcome the duo back to the label. Remixing "Crouch", a strong rhythmic framework and shifting percussive cadence provide an anchor for the bass line, so fundamental to the original, to drive hypnotically forwards. A raft of additional production material is then found through twinkling melodic riffs and sonic soundscapes, coupled with Pier O'Neil and Desaturate's memorable effects, to create an impressive rework.

Israeli, superstar, Matan Caspi, has been at the forefront of both the underground and mainstream dance movements for a decade. Both as DJ and producer, Caspi has lit up the dance arena with performances in over twenty countries, through his "Beat Avenue" radio show - syndicated to stations across the globe - and well over a thousand production credits that span a host of impressive imprints including, Spinnin', Pacha and Enormous Tunes. Coupled with support from a galaxy of A-listers that include, Above and Beyond, Eric Prydz and Sander Kleinenberg, it is not difficult to see why his name is so revered. Indeed, appearances on Kleinenberg's "This is" compilation and Sultan's "Nubreed" for Global Underground, has continually seen Caspi at the height of the modern dance scene, enhanced further by the foundation of the "Outta Limits Recordings" label with fellow superstar, Stan Kolev.

April 2016's remix of Li-Polymer's "Silence between Us" marks Matan Caspi's impressive Particles debut and so it is an honour to now welcome him back for a second remix. Reworking "Crouch" in typically impressive fashion, a clever bass line variation and pounding beat sets the foundations for a groove-laden, up tempo remix that is full of Caspi's trademark production values. Creating a dance floor destroyer that is certain to delight, intelligent retention of the original's themes, with the addition of a sublime melodic sequence in the third movement, has generated a rework of power and precision from the Matan Caspi studio.

Reaching the heights with two new remixes from Stark and Sahin and Matan Caspi, "Crouch" continues to see Rick Pier O'Neil and Desaturate standing tall.

Here's the edit of Kollektiv Turmstrasse's Jupiter Sunrise that I put together for my Chill Set at Rainbow Serpent 2017.

The original version only lasts for 4 minutes and is very unforgiving when attempting to play within a DJ set. It's such a beautiful piece of music that I feel ends a little bit too abruptly, so I recycled an extra verse and added in a sly little outro to make it a bit more DJ friendly. Hope you dig!

Way Out West (a.k.a Nick Warren & Jody Wisternoff) present their new studio album - ‘Tuesday Maybe’ - to be released on June 16th on Anjunadeep (“One of the hottest electronic labels in the world” - Hype Machine).

The pioneering duo have forged a reputation as as one of the UK’s most influential electronic acts in their 25 years together, reaching the Top 20 of the UK’s singles chart, touring their live show globally, and remixing the likes of Orbital, Unkle, James Holden, St. Etienne and Ian Brown.

In addition to their impressive collaborative back catalogue, the duo are both internationally renowned DJs in their own right. Nick runs the influential Soundgarden label and has helmed eight instalments of the iconic Global Underground compilation series. Jody released a solo album on Anjunadeep in 2012 and has since mixed the last four editions of the labels much-loved compilation series, all of which have topped the iTunes Dance Album chart.

They now return as Way Out West with ‘Tuesday Maybe’ their fifth LP, and their first in almost eight years.

Known for fusing elements of breaks, techno, trance and progressive house, Nick and Jody again combine wide-ranging influences on their new album. Title track ‘Tuesday Maybe’ has become something of a cult favourite since it’s release in early 2016, it’s haunting melody and rolling low-end becoming a firm favourite for the likes of Pete Tong, Lee Burridge and John Digweed. Parisian legend I:Cube worked his magic on an atmospheric remix that was supported by Mano Le Tough, Ricardo Villalobos and Maceo Plex.

Across the LP we hear a contemporary take on classic Way Out West elements, from raucous basslines and ravey breakbeats on ‘Set My Mind’ and ‘Slam’, to warm melodic deep house on ‘Lullaby Horizon’ and ‘We Move In The Dark’, featuring vocals from Hendrik Burkhard. The duo collaborate with five vocalists on the album, including label-mates Eli & Fur on opening track ‘Running Away’, and former Solomun collaborator Liu Bei on ‘Oceans’.

Released alongside the announcement of the album, ‘Oceans’ is a trademark piece of emotive dancefloor music from Nick and Jody, pairing textured melodies with haunting vocals.

Throughout 2017 Way Out West bring their well-honed live show to venues large and small across North America and the UK, with a notable performance at Glastonbury Festival in June the week after the album’s release.

‘Tuesday Maybe’ is set to be the eigth artist album to be released on Anjunadeep, an A&R hotbed celebrated for the release of debut LPs from Dusky, Cubicolor and Lane 8. With nearly 300 single releases and a string of iTunes #1 albums and compilations under its belt, the label has distinguished itself as one of the scene’s leading imprints, earning glowing coverage everywhere from Resident Advisor to Pitchfork, whilst receiving heavy support on BBC Radio 1 from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, B.Traits and Phil Taggart.

We’re happy to welcome back Harry Wolfman for a full record after his fine collaborative “Square Lane” EP with Loz Goddard last year. Here he delves into the leftfield side of house, this dreamy 5-tracker. Toronto’s Jesse Futerman joins us for the remix fresh from his debut releases on Church and Omena.

“Fermi” brings the tropically tinged deep house heat, wavering pads and buoyant bass paint us a mirage of sweltering summer days ahead. “Ice Thin” starts as a melancholic mover, it steadily builds through dusty samples, shaken percussion and smokey moods elevating the energy into something euphoric.

Things get gritty as we flip to the b-side. “Downstream” is a dark and grainy outing, edgy arps work in and out of tough drums and frenzied synths. Jesse’s superb rework of “Ice Thin” features distant horns and vocals that ring out over a warbling rhodes and rumbling bass, then comes the lick of a slide guitar reminiscent of some kind of twisted western.

Wrapping up this beautiful and somewhat nostalgic journey we turn to “Outro Version” a funk laden work out. Rich strings and woodwinds fill out the lush landscape that swells and soars across the steady, bottom heavy, dance inducing groove.

With his music gracing such revered labels as Steyeyoke, Sincopat and Definition, this talented producer has been turning heads for a decade, and now lands with two gems on Nick Warrens ever reliably cool Soundgadren imprint.

Kicking off musically with 'Butterfly, this wonderfully infectiously warm gem encapsulates you from the off, as its glow and aura ooze out the good stuff! A subtly building structure layers itself with pads, arps and a hypnotic groove, locking you in to its dreamlike soundscape. Hints of wobbliness with cool fx, and a gritty deft touch on the bass add texture as the tension builds. A top lead really lifts this track, and will no doubt cause a big fuss this summer and beyond.

The second track 'Nights Of Tel Aviv' takes us deeper, and captures the mystical Israeli capital cities vibe, as a swaggeringly cool magic voyage takes you on its journey, before the uplifting breakdown breathes through a was of melody with a hint of melancholy. A serious dance floor gem, for those special moments when you really want to capture your crwods attention.
