Kenneth Bager started out as a dj i 1979, he has played a numerous of styles, House, Jazz Funk, Electro, Reggae, Mombathon, Disco, Chill Out, Balearic - anything that goes with a strong identity. His collection is over 70.000 vinyls and cds.
He has played in some of the world s most famous clubs and Festivals: Bestival, Roskilde, The Big Chill, Mayday, The Omen and Dorian Gray in Frankfurt, Amnesia, Cafe Del Mar, KU, Sa Trinxa, Space, Mambo, Sunset Ashram, Khumares and Pacha in Ibiza, Spectrum in London, Roxy in Amsterdam, 1985 djing with Marco Trani in Hysteria in Rome, Quatar, Oslo, Manchester, Munich, Helsinki, Stockholm, Cannes, Dubai and playing a numerous of raves in the UK in the early 90 ties as the Act Dr Baker - famous for their track "Kaos".
Kenneth is also a regular at high profile private parties and has been spinning for Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, Talk Talk, New Order and Heaven 17. Over the years he has been following the moods and ever evolving sides of dance culture visiting clubs all over the world.
He has ran several labels with great success in Scandi​navia, Coma Records where he released, intern​ational dance hits. Later the label was called Flex and the line of intern​ational dance hits continued. In total Flex sold over 4 million units and had tracks on over 40 million units of compil​ations.
Next stop was the 2 cd compilation called Music For Dreams that lead to the label of the same name, it started out as a lounge /chill label but has evolved into a label without any boundaries: Music For Dreams has generated sales of over 2 million units.
Kenneth has organzied a Music For Dreams Festival, and he has even done a weekly dance programme on TV.
In 2013 Kenneth Bager was resident Dj in Cafe Mambo in Ibiza, where 13 Music For Dreams Sunday Events were being held, live music were being combined with live artists and guest dj's.
He has done 3 solo albums under the moniker: The Kenneth Bager Experience - a weird and wonderful happy place where balearic electronica soundt​racks, scenes of decadence, beautiful women - frolic in lacy underwear, white rabbits are regarded as equals. Featured guests on the two albums include: Violin wizard Jean Luc Ponty, Julee Cruise ( Twin Peaks), Aloe Blacc, Thomas Troelsen ( Junior Senior) and Damon C Scott ( Storm Queen). His tracks has been used in several commer​cials, campaigns and, movies ( amongst: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo).
Kenneth's latest venture is doing regular nights at the famous danish Museum Louisiana, and recently he started a new danish festival, Apple Flower Festival, on an island called Lille Ø ( meaning small island) - a food and music festival together with Claus Meyer, founder of the new nordic cuisine.
In 2015 Kenneth Bager continue to arrange Music For Dreams events in Copenhagen and Ibiza. Kenneth is playing as a dj in Brazil in October. The third solo album from Kenneth Bager named "Follow The Beat" is being released and his well-e​stabli​shed radio presence on Ibiza Sonica continues to push Electronic Dance Music with his weekly show..

When you listen to Sebastian Mullaert’s music you will feel something enchanting, a resonance that delivers truth, integrity and reminds us to simply be. The Swedish artist has a distinct approach to life, as well as music, which is centred around tranquillity, stillness and the convergence of Zen meditation, nature and creativity. Known for his work as one half of Minilogue, Sebastian is also an accomplished solo artist with new material ready to roll. As an artist that is constantly evolving he has taken a bold new direction in his sonic exploration, immersing himself in the neo-classical scene and joining forces with one of the top 10 philharmonic orchestras in the world - Tonhalle Zürich. Working with great care and innovation he has created a truly immersive audio-visual performance experience, combining a mesmerising integration of electronic and classical instrumentation, with a visual art installation based on breath taking nature landscapes shot from a helicopter perspective. With such an innovative approach he aims to bridge the gap between classical and electronic music and introduce a whole new generation to the neo-classical concept. 

Sebastian's deep connection with music can be traced back to his formative years; from playing the organ and violin as a child, to performing in orchestras, string quartets and pop band, progressing into electronic music in his late teens. Discovering house and techno in the mid-nineties was the catalyst behind a revolution in his life, he set out on a new musical pathway, to promote the simplicity of being. Throughout the late nineties he experimented with electronic sounds, forming cult duo Minilogue with a friend and releasing with Crosstown Rebels, Traum Schallplatten, Wagon Repair and more, plus two albums via Cocoon – ‘Animals’ (2008) and ‘Blomma’ (2013). In 2014, the duo decided to take a break and invest their time in solo projects and Sebastian has since been hard at work cultivating a collection of new music already snapped up by hugely influential labels such as R&S sub-label Apollo, Drumcode, Hypercolour and Minus.

Sebastian Mullaert’s live performances are awe-inspiring, combining technical wizardry with energy, atmosphere and euphoria, you only have to watch his “Interpretations” performance for XLR8R or Boiler Room appearance for examples of his prowess. Recognition of his aptitude has led him to perform at institutions and festivals such as Panorama Bar - Berlin, Labyrinth Festival - Japan, Fabric - London, Concrete - Paris, The Block - Tel Aviv and Blackmarket - NYC. 

Sebastian’s collaborative work runs parallel to his solo endeavours and he has teamed up with several figures in the techno world to produce some unforgettable releases. Collaborators include Mathew Jonson, Eitan Reiter, Aril Brikha and Ulf Eriksson, and releases have come via underground platforms such as Hypnus, Mule Musiq and Kontra Musik. He also produces under the alias Wa Wu We, offering a serene, understated take on the techno aesthetic. Furthermore he is involved in the new Be Yokai project, a trio formed of Sebastian, Douglas Holmquist and Kristoffer Ström. The three men formed a natural alliance, finding their flow after several sessions together. Their first EP is signed to Hypercolour sub-label Space Hardware, with a live show and more music in the pipeline.

Sebastian Mullaert is already established as a potent force in the world of electronic music. Serious about reminding people to BE on the dance floor, or in the comfort of their own home, the music he makes is deep, progressive and utterly unique. A staunch advocate for personal freedom, she is highly regarded worldwide for her deep knowledge, unforgettable DJ sets, definitive productions and iconic aesthetic - a pillar of the global electronic music community. With regular appearances at a long list of influential and innovative club spaces and festivals, Nicole Moudaber’s versatility, passion and intuitive approach place her in the top tier of touring artists. 

She has travelled the world playing a variety of locations, from intimate basement venues to large stages at festivals such as Coachella, Ultra Music festival, Time Warp, Electric Daisy Carnival, Awakenings and many more of the world’s most renowned electronic music spaces. Besides her solo releases and a consistently packed touring schedule, she has collaborated with a wide range of artists. For Rune Reilly Kölsch, Kompakt has become a great label to call home. In 2013 the German imprint celebrated 20 years of record releases at the cutting edge of electronic music, championed in June by one of the most genre re-defining albums and personal music projects for an era: Kölsch’s landmark long player, ‘1977’.

A melodic autobiography on black wax, the Kölsch project has seen 36/37-year-old Rune take stock of a diverse and successful production career and draw upon his own personal beginnings: a nostalgia for childhood, family, friends and the confusion of applying his split-cultural heritage to what it means to think of ‘home’. As Rune freely admits, “being half Irish, half German and living in Denmark – it was all one big messy period of my life.” 

Born to hippie parents in the freetown of Christiania (a commune-like autonomous borough of the Danish capital Copenhagen) his childhood was spent surrounded by creativity. His mother was an artist whose family had roots in German politics and his father a singer songwriter who travelled through Asia playing music in the early 70's. Kölsch, however, did miss out on building friendships and found solace in making up “this imaginary world that I would spend days in,” before the family moved to Germany – a period of memories, relations and characters from which ‘1977’ derives its titles.

For Rune, the tracks he began building from 2010 took in this personal reflection, his being “completely locked in to reminiscing about what shaped me as a kid and into the individual that I am now” – contemplating his unique past to form the brickwork of ‘1977’, one of the most future-facing techno albums of recent years.

Influenced by hip hop, pop and the incredible legacy of Jeff Mills and Derrick May, Rune started producing in 1995, embarking on a string of success stories. In 2003 he released the multi-million selling, saxophone-infused ‘Calabria’, that saw collaboration requests pouring in from artists as diverse as Nicki Minaj, Shakira and Flo Rida. He then set up Tattoorecs – releasing pioneering underground tracks with no titles, just tattoos for artwork, that garnered critical acclaim and support from minimal and techno trailblazers such as Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Magda, Tiefschwarz and Ricardo Villalobos.

This appreciation of the complete musical spectrum has gifted Rune with a devotion to groove and melodics and with it the dexterity to input real creative change to the genres he reveres, not least his beloved techno. “2010 was the year of the ketamine house wave, where the music was 118 bpm and everything was extremely boring”, reflects Rune. “I wanted some melodic techno, some energy back in this scene. People needed the energy to express themselves and go crazy for a bit.”

This notion faced opposition, even from within Rune’s close circles. But it was Kompakt founder Michael Mayer who had the insight to see what Kölsch was trying to achieve. Rune’s conviction that vibrations and melodics are the key to human response had tipped the balance, underlined by his experience as a hip hop DJ where he “needed something to catch me and drag me in. And that’s what techno should do!” Here too he drew on his love of Jeff Mills and Derrick May, recalling how “they used to make mistakes all the time. It would be a big mash of all kinds of stuff, but at least something was happening. That’s what I was missing and that’s what I’m trying to change with the Kölsch project.”

The result is ‘1977’, a personal collection of dancefloor destroyers that are continuing to send clubs and festivals across the globe into melodic supernova. Take this video of Kölsch’s set at Belgium’s I Love Techno festival, one of Rune’s 2013 highlights, where “people were doing sit downs, singing along to all the tracks”. Watch it. It puts the hairs up on the back of your neck. “The response was overwhelming,” said Rune in a recent interview with Mixmag (who named Kölsch as one of their ‘Stars Of 2013’), as “when you think about it, it was just a bunch of childhood memories with a kickdrum underneath.” 

Elsewhere he’s ripped up the airways with an acclaimed Essential Mix for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, delivered his incendiary soundscape to Singapore’s world-renowned ZoukOut Festival, boomed his live show through the heaving basement of London’s XOYO and played the hallowed Space Terrace – in his words “a boyhood dream since I started going to Ibiza in 1999. That was what I wanted from life!” So opening Amnesia in 2014 with Joris Voorn will be a bonus then...

While these are reasons enough to keep the beaming smile beneath Kölsch’s trademark black fedora, his humility remains just as striking. While tracks like ‘Goldfisch’ have taken pivotal positions in the set lists of world class DJs from across the dance music spectrum – traversing the underground with Seth Troxler, while simultaneously providing credible new euphoric highs for the likes of Axwell – Rune remains joyously down to earth. All despite producing, with ‘1977’, an album that has crossed as many cultural and musical boundaries as his own childhood past.

From the face-twisting melodic drive of ‘Opa’ and ‘Bappedekkel’, to the chord-surfing piano groove of ‘Der Alte’ and the euphoric crescendos of ‘Lorely’, ‘Oma’ and ‘All That Matters’ (all hits in different countries), the fact remains that whether in your living room, on the dancefloors of the world’s greatest parties, or simply in your headphones on your way home, Kölsch’s ‘1977’ has re-defined techno and become an achievement that speaks for itself.
