I played from 1:00-4:00am inside of the Reactor project and was really feeding off of the high energy from the dancefloor during the entire 3 hours -- it was such an epic and unforgettable night. “This was the first night back on the playa since 2019, and also the first night of my first burn. I was still getting my bearings, and now here we were, biking in search of the famed Mayan Warrior in the middle of a dust storm with nearly whiteout conditions — it was one of those surreal images of Burning Man that will be with me forever.

We followed the art car into the dust until it parked in front of the “Reflection” art piece. Once aboard the Mayan, I was stunned by the sea of colorful lights illuminating the dark desert, a scene beyond imagination. This set is the result of the incomparable, pulsating energy from everyone around me — it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.

To have had the opportunity to play for the 10 year anniversary of Mayan Warrior was a huge honor. Thank you to the entire MW crew who made this dream come true, and to everyone who came out to support and welcome me home. xx Julya ”

andhim are a German DJ and producer duo founded by Simon Haehnel & Tobias Müller. Since their start in 2010, they have published numerous songs and remixes and worked with artists such as Diplo, Rüfüs du Sol and Theophilus London on an internationally successful level.

With residencies in New York, Los Angeles, London and Berlin, they are among the most successful DJ duos in the scene. Over the last decade, andhim have manifested their signature sound without  any boundaries in expressing themselves on a creative level. They have cultivated an exceptionally loyal fan base of musical lovers all over the world. 

In 2020 their documentary film “Miles To Go“ was released. A road trip along the west coast of the US, which dives deep into the lives of the two on tour and how they work with each other. The film has been shown at several international film festivals so far and has won two coveted prizes: “Best Score” (Swindon Independent Film Fest, UK) and “Best Documentary Feature” (San Diego IKFF, USA). The music in the film was written exclusively by andhim and released as a soundtrack album on their own label Superfriends Records.

Superfriends Records is andhim‘s own label, founded in 2016. A label that captures a refined and contagiously unique electronic sound. It is an outlet for the duo’s most ambitious ideas. Among others, Artists like Roman Flügel or Acid Pauli released on the label.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man is a dream I’ll never get tired of living. Robot Heart is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others! Grateful for the opportunity to play on the bus again. 

This year (2024), my set time was Monday Morning at 7:00 am so I wanted to prepare something special for the beginning of an unforgettable week. 

I decided to play a live set filled with most of the Edits/Remixes I’ve made along the years (for example: Edits/Remixes I’ve made of Alice Coltrane, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Michelle Gurevich, Acid Pauli, Nicolas Jaar, Fred Again, etc…). 

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result of this experiment! 

Massive thanks to the Robot Heart fam and everyone who was there!

If you were at this years burning man you know how incredible it was. It needs no explanation nor can we explain it in words. You felt the somehow elevated vibe in the air that somehow made every cell in all of our bodies just get in some sort of beautiful flow. This year we made a special edit which you’ll hear at the end of the set made especially for our sunrise set at robot heart. During this moment at sunrise, we all laughed and even cried together. This is what we live for, these moments on top of the Robot Heart bus. 

If you weren’t able to make it this year, or you decided this was the year to take off, we dedicate this mix to you and we also dedicate this mix to infinite love to all, Weeeee are in a romantic mood these days. Cause love and music have no boundaries! We want to share it with everyone.

Hi, I'm an amateur DJ and my musical journey started back in 2015. However, my love for electronic music started much earlier. When I was just 10 years old, my parents brought home a CD of Miss Kittin's set - Electroclash Berlin is burning, and that sound literally blew my adolescent mind. Since then, I can't imagine my life without electronic rhythms and sounds.

My passion for music has led me to explore and master different genres such as Afro House, Melodic House, Indie House and Tech House.
