Our pick fall on 'OTO0OTO aka Fake Robot Cumbia'. The tropical flavor can be smelled in the air. Some whistles, claps and güiros accompany the main synth flow. The temperature rises. Weird sounds invade our mind. Now we are all lost in the Fandango.

New release of our physical series of the label signed by Daniel Gregori, partner of Dogs & Vultures and owner of La Haima, Daniel is a emerging talent with numerous releases published in our scene. The well-known French vocalist Snem K, who has given voice to hits played in all over the world by DJ's like Maceo Plex or Solomun, collaborates with the vocals on both tracks.
To complete the reference, we have the majestic remixes of two of the best producers on the scene, already established and good friends from Dogs & Vultures Records, Monoblok & MontCosmik.

Like the previous chapter, these are more than plain re edits. The original tracks were decontextualised and repurposed to give them a new meaning and a new breath of life.


1. Dub Yourself to my Help is built from small slices that were chopped from a classic 80's proto-house tune. These slices are big enough to retain the essence of the original, but small enough to give them a new identity. On top of that, Davin Varda added a new bass line, a bunch of spacey synth textures and percussive elements, to create a whole new beast.

2. Rhythm is a Constant beat was concieved when Troels Yuri accidentally played a random 12" at the wrong speed. Loops were quickly sliced, synths and bass guitars added, drum machines programmed, and this forgotten dutch gem was given a new lease of life, re-tooled for a new generation of DJs.

3. Davin Varda always dreamt of doing a re-edit using the separate tracks of an original track. Backflash Re-Imagined is his first attempt at doing just that, taking only the elements he likes from this well known UK-Disco monster.
However, if you are looking for a sinister twist, wait 4 and a half minutes and see what happens if you try to leave the club in the middle of a party and experience a gruesome flashback.

Four new slabs of ZillaMusik heading in all possible demonic directions–hell’s bells chiming for an eternal assassin with teeth for eyes (“The Corinthian”); slow-mo sleigh rides through the night with frequent Girls Chat Room collaborator Babystar (“Yes She Dub”); an acid ode to a girl who never quite was (“Dora”); and a computer club call to arms for Nonexistence as lifestyle (“How I Became Invisible”). Lurid Music welcomes Fabio Me Llaman Soltero from Guatemala. This eccentric multifaceted producer, co-founder of the Sonido Moderna collective and the Azul Rosa beach club in Lago De Atitlán, in southwestern Guatemala, has always been known for his insatiable search for a particular sound with the experimentation of various genres. Labeling with a musical genre what it produces, in its own words, is "boring, and music, like life, must be free, because the rhythms are there to be used in the best way for us." Anatolian Weapons comes in to give an argan oil rub to the lead-off track, coming up with an acid desert classic. Vinyl to come out in early 2021.
