He’s the modern-day Mozart — today’s leading talent in the ever-growing electronic dance music scene. He’s the pride of Moldova, known for his unique and very own sound. He is Andrei Rata, better known as Andrew Rayel.


Born on July 21st, 1992, his young age never stopped him from taking the lead amongst the next generation of electronic dance music’s finest producers. Developing strong musical skills, he studied orchestral music and kicked off his producing career at only 13 years of age. It didn’t take long for the passionate music lover to translate his ideas into sounds. He created a truly unique sonic signature – one of piano power, harmonic balance, and euphoric tales. And so, years later, his originals and remixes are praised by many and loved by more. But, rest assured, the Andrew Rayel story has only just begun.

“Trance was the perfect solution, as it is a combination of melody, harmony and energy, elements that I prefer the most”, says Andrew Rayel. With having several singles under his belt that has taken the dance world by storm “How Do I Know”, “Horizon” , “One In A Million”, “Dark Warrior”, “Tambores”, “EIFORYA” and much more more!

His tracks found a solid home on the A State of Trance and Armind labels, both part of the Armada Music family. With such impressive originals, it didn’t take long until the Rayel sound became its own nourishing label “inHarmony Music” with partnership of sister company Armada Music.

Andrew Rayel became a leading brand that has had the pleasure in collaborating and having the supports of names such as Armin Van Buuren, W&W, The Chainsmokers, Dash Berlin, Tiesto, Seven Lions and much more, as well as remarkable performances from headlining mainstages to selling out venues in worldwide cities and festivals such as Tomorrowland in Belgium, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Orlando, Tokyo, Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Sydney, South Korea , Electric Zoo in New York, A State Of Trance in The Netherlands, Creamfields UK and much more.

In 2018, the Find Your Harmony radio show experience has turned into a one of a kind live experience in which Andrew has taken the brand to selective world wide city debuts such as Montreal, New York, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Chisinau, and a few more sold out stops, with last but not least a festival stage takeover at Electric Daisy Carnival , Las Vegas in 2019.

As a result of his hard work and dedication, fans voted him to become one of the Top 100 DJS in the world, as well as breakout DJ & Producer and highest climber in the poll voting, along side many world wide nominations such as the IDMA (International Dance Music Awards) which is hosted yearly in Miami during Winter Music Conference week.”.

Andrew Rayel is now an artist that has released 2 artists albums on his home label “Armada Music”. in 2014 “Find Your Harmony” was released as the first ever artist album, followed up by “MOMENTS”.

“We see Sunset Melodies mainly as a movement of passionate people…want to move people by bringing music that takes a listener into another world.” What’s more, the label serves as a platform for undiscovered talent that “…gives them an opportunity to be heard within a vast majority of networks, establish an identity with an outlet for their music.” Ultimately, “We want to bring as many people into the underground scene…and our main goal is to make people happy with the type of music we release.”

“The moniker originally started as a YouTube channel back in 2009,” said Wahed Achterberg, label manager. “This turned into regular uploads of mixes with the latest releases of Progressive House and Progressive Trance that have accumulated thousands of subscribers and millions of [video] views.” Guest mixers have included with participants like Nigel Good, Vitodito, Dan & Sam, Aerotek, Kobana, Shingo Nakamura, Shawn Mitiska, to name a few. The channel garnered the attention of labels and producers, earning a position as “…a substantial voice within the underground scene (Tiefhaus Records).” Schodt, of Silk Royal, even said, “Love those videos…sounds wonderful…have very nice taste in tracks.” The transition from a YouTube channel to becoming a label resulted with a relationship of Fuzzy Recordings. “I started promoting their releases (on mixes). After a period of chatting with label manager, Jerry Chiu, he invited me to be part of his label, as an A&R manager.” After a few months on the job, “Jerry asked me if I would be interested in bringing Sunset Melodies to the foreground, as a label and part of the Fuzzy Recordings collective,” says Wahed. “He [Jerry] served as a peer advisor on how to manage during the first few months.” Beckoning for its voice is heard; the thriving YouTube channel came into its own as a label.
