Chris Collins is no stranger to house music. The 23-year-old South Florida native began DJing at the age of 13 on a pair of his neighbor's belt drive turntables. When most young teens asked their parents for a ride to the movies, Collins was asking for a ride to the record store. Influenced at a young age by the sounds of Behrouz, Steve Lawler, Oscar G and Deep Dish, Chris's productions started to take the form of dark, organic techno. Chris moved to New Orleans in 2007 and began further refining his sound while pursuing a degree in neuroscience at Tulane; incorporating chunkier progressive and tech-house qualities into his already infectious beats. 2013 marks the beginning of a new era for Chris, with a departure to New York to pursue a career in music. The sky is the limit for Chris!
