Creating an introverted version of restrained electronic music Berlin-based artist Constantijn Lange releases his second album 'Liquide' on Heimlich Musik. The album is based on sketches created in isolation during the second pandemic year.

The compositions are characterized by self-reflection and an attempt to translate the abstract experience of listening to oneself into a concrete form. The sound of personal isolation, the necessary withdrawal from the world and the restriction of all social contacts is, therefore, less club oriented and focused on functionality than an expressive concept of ideas, rather oriented on Trip Hop, Breakbeat, Ambient and Jazz.

The collective rediscovery of shared experience results in arrangements of melancholic but optimistic melodies recorded with vintage synthesizers, supported by complex drum patterns and diverse percussions that create a signature sound as a new liquid amalgam.

A-Tweed is the moniker of Ant De Oto, Italian dj/producer based in Rome.
His music is an essential smoothie of acid weird downbeats, dark electronics, EBM, cosmic disco, electro, tribal techno and goodies of global music.

In 2020/2021 he's released music on French label Hard Fist and on Argentinian imprint Playground Records, with remixes by Dengue Dengue Dengue, Carrot Green, Lucas Croon, Cain and Fabrizio Mammarella, among others.

This year 2023 he has new music out via Feines Tier (Germany), SABI (Japan), Electric Shapes (Lithuania), Duro (Mexico), Inside Out (UK) and many more, including with us on Play Pal Music.

He is resident with his "Coal & Ash Circuit" show on Radio Alhara (Bethlehem, Palestine) and also has two sides projects such as the tribal techno duo Oblako Maranta with Russian producer Andrey Redkov from Radial Gaze and his collaboration with italian producer and sound engineer Valerio Ebert under the alias Oltrefuturo, focusing on weird slow beats and acid wonky techno, with music out on Fauna Rêve and Multi Culti.

The Munich-based vagabond, having lived in Berlin, Paris, Hamburg & Barcelona among other cities, has been soaking up music in Europe’s most renowned house & techno clubs for more than a decade. He started DJing in 2016 in Dublin where he played regularly at Pygmalion for Hybrasil's DiVision parties. Since the pandemic, Alemao has been focusing on his own productions and has released music on Sinchi Records, Kognitiv, Quixotical & others. 2023 will see many more releases on Mala Ika's Weirdos Records, Tronik Youth's NEIN Records, Diego Montiel's Side Up Works and Lyon based label Mélopée.
About this mix: I wanted to showcase what you can expect from me in a club context, I love to mix Dark & Italo Disco with lots of percussion and psychedelic elements. The mix features some of my all-time favourite producers like Fango, Damon Jee, AFFKT, as well as some of my (unreleased) own productions. I hope you dig it <3
