@freundderfamilie are also friends of Freude am Tanzen. The two producers from Leipzig have released a lot of music together with other great artists on their own imprint. A FDF record at our Fatplastics Recordstore is always something special for us, abecause the two producers have already been released some tracks on our vinyl only imprint Fatplastics. For this reason, we are especially happy that the 72nd edition of the Freude am Tanzen podcast comes from Freund der Familie.

Scientists tend to think they know, but many of them haven’t seen it with their own eyes.
It may not be a matter of belief, but desire can steer your thoughts just too easily.

They came back.

Some never left and left some esperance of a better world. 
The others escaped and now they return with pieces of that world one by one. 
They sing by day, they chant at night, fuelled by the rays, nourished by the light.

They are back.

Accompanied by early assel with pieces of a wonky world.
Some housey House tunes for inside and outside people alike.
Fodder for your feet, pasture for your soul.

My first solo Set at beloved Galerie Kurzweil in early Dezember 2023.
Usually I share the Decks with my brother DJ Volvic (Disco Sour), this gives us room to experiment and also new impulses on every record. Playing on my own gave me the chance to express myself with a little heavier touch and also it was more easy to keep the vibe whilst building tension between those tracks. 
It was a nice closing tho.. thanks for dancing fellow friends !

little fun fact:
this is the first mix since years, and also my debut on club live recordings ;)
