Shawn Cartier & Dufraine present: Pleasure Corp’ - marking the anticipated transition to a live duo through the release of a 3 track EP with a debut live show scheduled for 25th March at The Yard. The synergetic pair have performed together consistently bolstered by a string of releases through Childsplay and International Chrome.

The EP, including lead track ‘Back From Reality’, contains a full circle exploration through the soundscapes of machine-driven electro and main room house euphoria. Across this release you can expect sonics splattered with classic 90s-inspired acid and electro bass and melodics; colorful and eerie arpeggiations; topped by emotionally charged vocal narratives tying the knots to an endearing yet quirky atmosphere.

What Is Accepted?

Pleasure Corp is a strictly live project from Electro scene duo Shawn Cartier & Dufraine. Taking ode from a wide set of inspirations such as Juan Atkins, Daft Punk and Kraftwerk - the pair unite under a mantra of putting futuristic expression at the forefront of their art, represented both in their music and their visual identity.

In 2023 they made a clear impact in the underground having garnered passionate support from Ben UFO, Two Shell, and Emerald to name a few.

The Pleasure Corp universe is an endearing and quirky atmosphere that always keeps you guessing. One that is littered with classic 90s percussion shots sown together with emotionally charged vocal narratives, acid infused basslines, and colorful, eerie arpeggiations.
