Fish House Funk aka (John Kim) is a queer DJ & party producer. 

Starting in 2021, Fish House Funk has hosted Fish House Funk parties including FEM_FISH, Good Vibrations - a prana-disco party, Summer Camp, and Wind Down Disco. Fish House Funk has also DJ'd at DC's premier parties & venues like HDF, Flower Factory, Studio 69 (resident DJ), Bunker, Flash, DC9 and Crush Bar.

Through DJing house & disco, 🐟🏠 hopes to share the beauty & love of soul, funk, disco, electronica, and house music with our listeners. It is our mission to spread our love to our friends & fans 💕

Fish House Funk’s name is a play on John’s grandparents restaurant name, Potomac Fish House in Washington DC, which has been around since 1981! We play to honor their name & legacy 

Based in Washington DC 

Fish House focuses on creating queer based events, Tea Dances, nighttime parties, raves and Meditation + Music events in the DC area.
