PLoTS is a word with several meanings in different contexts. That is how we like to approach our music. In Dutch it is the word for ‘sudden’ and reflects our need for improvisation. Most of the PLoTS music is material which has the best of both worlds: composition and improvisation. That ́s why we like to call our material ‘comprovisations’. All the bandmembers contribute to the sound and the material. PLoTS sounds colourfull, obstinate, rocks hard, plays gentle, narrative and playful. The music is an eclectic collection of freedom, expression, text and words, modern jazz and songlike structures.
