Ahead of our next party, John has put together a superb hour of music to soundtrack the journey to the cosmos. With a singular production style and a detailed knowledge of analogue synthesis, Shima has crafted his own niche in the scene alongside other great producers such as Steve Rutter and Derek Carr. With a production workrate most others could only dream of, he champions a wonderful sound that stylistically sits perfectly between old Sheffield bleep and emotional Detroit techno. His DJ sets cover everything from acid house, dub techno and electro and are a perfect reflection of what we love at On Ro.

Dj since 1996 in Japan, he is now mainly based in Berlin and resident of Club Der Visionaere and Closer in Kiev.  His mix here is like usual an high class combination of selection and mix taking us here into some deep, mental, ambient, spacey techno atmospheres and included what he said one of his fav Life Notes tracks from LN001, Motion Process's "Gravitation".

Rosa 006 - René Audiard

Mexican born, Berlin-based artist Daniela Huerta moves effortlessly between different areas of the arts world, from performance art to multimedia projects and sound design, whilst she operates as Baby Vulture for her creative DJing pursuits. 

Although this year marked her first solo production outing, she has been involved in several interdisciplinary projects and musical collaborations, including Soundwalk Collective, Cornerbred, and IATTAI. Her aforementioned solo debut found its way on to Concentric's first compilation in a series of three titled Profile of Lines, which sees her feature alongside artists like Vladislav Delay, Max Loderbauer, Etapp Kyle and Christina Vantzou.

Ahead of her next release, a debut on Nicolas Lutz new label, we invited her to take the reigns for this week's Shine A Light On mix...
