It's the start of the third and final day of an energy-sapping festival. As a DJ, one should probably ease things into gear, right? Wrong. Midwest legend DJ Hyperactive delivered what he had emblazoned on his shirt: "Kick & Snare & Clap & Hat & Tom." Acid lines squirmed. Snares rattled. Bio:

"I’ve been a lover of electronic music for many years (I have a few behind me!). My influences include Detroit techno, Chicago house, UK techno, hardcore,  breakbeats, ambient and all sorts of music that usually involve synths. I run a label which is primarily digital with the occasional vinyl release called Forte Techno with my friend Steven McDonagh. I also put some of my own music out on Bandcamp all under my name Ross Alexander. I enjoy working with various machines and software tools mostly making techno but dabble in other areas too and enjoy doing live sets."

"I do like a mix from time to time so was nice to record something here! I love making music and going out and I enjoy listening to other people play and playing myself and I look forward to doing it again sometime! This is a mix of new and old bits I’ve enjoyed lately with a range of some of the sounds that influence my own productions in the studio, enjoy!"
