If it wasn’t for Berlin and Urban Dimension, we couldn’t have discovered Atomo the way that we did recently. But we are damn happy that we did so and that he shared with us this beautiful piece of a podcast that we couldn’t be more happy to share with you at this time. Especially now that this heavy winter is about to come to an end with warmer days, more light and rays of sunshine. 

Born in Naples 1993, this Italian talent developed a passion for music from his first hearings. He started to learn to play records at the age of 13, with his first club gig when he was 15 year old. Throughout the years since 2014 he’s held residences for projects like Finally, Electronic Rendez-Vous and Vesuvius Soul Records in Italy. 

As we return from the winter hibernation into a more joyful state of mind full of hope , rich of peace and love ; we are thrilled to present for you blossy tales #13 by Atomo. Enjoy the ride!

As I closed out my reflections on the last 12 months, riding through many positive personal and other emotional vicissitudes, I realized that not many things in the world make us move, think, and feel more than music. Seeing so many talented friends across different parts of the industry reminds me that though we come from different backgrounds, we're all working to make the music world inspiring for creators of all types. I feel so grateful to be able to contribute music that made me happy and hopeful in the last 365 days. 

Reflecting on where my ear and interests currently are, the records included in this mix kept coming back to me, and I've sat with them for an entire year (Thanks for your patience, Alex). After 2-3 months of complete mixing absence, I was overwhelmed with a creative wave earlier this week and recorded the mix. 

It's all over the place, in all its roughness and imperfection, but I am super proud of it and admit I listened to it many times. ❤️

OCHO, born in Colombia. this sound engineer, producer, and DJ has been involved in live music since he was young. He began working professionally as a sound technician for concerts and parties since 1998. He led the drum and bass project ''Overdub''. Among its collection you can find styles such as dubstep, drum and bass, jungle, breakbeat, drill with influences from techno, His music has been heard on the dance floors of cities like Berlin, Rotterdam, Bogotá, and Barcelona. Currently, he is looking to expand his music collection, covering genres such as afrobeat, acid jazz, dub, reggae, soul, funk, and breaks.
