Huge wars between humans, as well as great advances in technology that changed forever the face of the world, a world that according to many artists, lived as a prisoner of the rational mind and that did not allow us humans to understand life and the Universe in its wide spectrum.

This is how, with its mystical origin in Dadaism, Surrealism was born. A movement that sought to explore and venture into the limits of the human mind through art. Initially literature, but also reaching the visual arts and so much more. Then decades later, the first psychedelic artists were born, much closer to music in its origins and who represented a rebellion against the established norms in the face of a world in chaos.

Today after 100 years, the scenario is complex again. There are wars, there is a technological revolution and the world is coming out of a great chaos caused by a virus that produced a great crisis. Can we perhaps learn something from the ideas of surrealism, to understand today's world?, remove ourselves from the entirely rational mind to which technology and the "information society" push us, to finally understand the world from an alternative perspective?

Excited to announce our new single ‘’Noku Mana’’ together with my good friend and fellow musician Onaia. We created a contemporary rendition of this beautiful Huni Kuin song. It is sang to call upon the different powers in the universe to bring prosperity, health and wisdom. It was a joy to work with Onaia’s deep vocals and moody guitarplay, and we will be working together on more music projects in the future.

António Variações was a Portuguese singer and songwriter who rose to prominence in the 80s with his unique, eclectic and absolutely amazing musical style!
Known for his flamboyant stage presence, wearing bold and colorful outfits with his distinctive hairstyles, Variações's music was a fusion genres, from rock, pop, folk, and his magic and influence continues to these days, making him one of the most beloved figures in Portugal's cultural history!
Fun fact is that before he became a musician, he was a famous barber in Lisbon!

1) What is your favorite book to read?

That's not an easy question because I definitely don't read enough. but
at the moment I'm reading the book: "Paris - ein Fest fürs Leben" by
Ernest Hemingway and I love the way Hemingway calmly talks about his
time and describes life as an artist in Paris.

2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

There are a lot of good answers for the second question. I think
speaking for humanity, my superpower would be to end wars and hunger,
for me personally the greatest superpower would be to be infinitely free
from all constraints and conventions.

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?

the longest i was up was like 40
hours when we organized our own open air and were busy throughout the
night. Otherwise, sleep is very important to me and you will rarely find
me at extended after-hour sessions

Lascivio Bohemia - André Breton Is My Roomie [Cosmovision]

My edit of Alan Sorrenti's classic "Figli delle Stelle" honoring the essence of Sorrenti's 1977 hit, reimaginated  with a laid-back, sun-drenched soundscape that is quintessentially Balearic.

Figli Delle Stelle” was recorded between Italy and California in 1977 and made use of the collaboration of internationally renowned artists including producer Jay Graydon (already working with Al Jarreau, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye… Also his is the famous guitar riff of the single "Figli Delle Stelle"), David Hungate (Toto) on bass and David Foster on keyboards (who has collaborated with Madonna, Celine Dion, Bee Gees and George Harrison, as well as with Bocelli and Pausini ).

“In Los Angeles, in Jay Graydon's studios there really was a meeting of stars. We believe in the value of different cultures and diverse ways of appreciating art and the Universe itself. This way we created Cosmovision Records, to spread art inspired in a folkloric root combined with a contemporary perspective linked to electronic music and a positive spiritual approach.
